Tyler was so great with my kids. They had a blast, and more importantly, they were taught important safety info. The gym feels very safe and friendly. Highlight of our trip to Nashville.
Today after a brief time off, I come back and see new routes and think oh boy, how exciting it is to climb some new routes and enjoy what I pay nearly 100 bucks a month in. However that is completely not the case. I’m instead discovering the entire auto-belay wall is covered in blood smears, blood skid marks, and spots where holds were are not even remotely cleaned after. The walls, the gym, the holds, everything is this gym is minimally a straight up health violation and hazard. I’m not particularly interesting in catching herpes or a damn infection due to the lack of maintaince, care, professionalism, or just “lack” of care your staff feels they don’t need to have. To expresses the lack of care, I spoke to one of the managers on duty today, and asked if the staff or him just doesn’t care. He said “ya pretty much, unless it’s a big mess ya it’s whatever. I’m paid 14 an hour as a manager and the staff is 11, they don’t care and the owner doesn’t care so it’s just what it is.” The fact the managers are absolutely lack luster in all categories now is just embarrassing, disappointing, unprofessional and down right disgusting. The fact they have zero issue coming to work to just let the damn skid mark stay on the wall for weeks and let people climb through that is horrid. He even encouraged me to make a google review to let my opinion be known. If I can make it be known how much they don’t care, and how much yall just love to roll around in the filth of Nashville, let this be the notice before you even think of putting your hands near a wall. On this day as well, a 20+ kid birthday party was going on while I was expressing concern of the cleanliness and said kids don't even need to be close to the walls with the state it in. Long story short I watched 20 something kids run as fast as they could to play and touch all over the skid marks and grime this gym is so proud to display.
My husband and I went here after not having climbed in years, and it was a lot of fun. The day pass comes with the harness and shoe rental. The staff were very friendly, and they give you a little auto belay lesson before you’re set free. The first floor is all bouldering and manual belay. The second floor is all the auto belay climbs, which were all different levels of difficulty. We were told by several people that the routes are changed pretty often!
This is a great gym for both experienced and beginner climbers. The staff were very friendly, and the other climbers were respectful. All gear is provided, or you can bring your own (shoes). Their shop is full of equipment to get you ready when you venture out to nature on your own.
This place is a gem. The staff are always so amazing and helpful. I love the facility!!!! I never climbed in my life but would bring my sons when they were younger. Now they’re older and I lost a ton of weight and can enjoy it myself. The auto-belays are GREAT, and if you’ve got someone willing to belay you, the options are endless and so much fun. It’s a new love of life!!
