Overall everyone was nice. There was some miscommunication between staff. I was placed in an exam room and waited over an hour in the room. Someone came in and asked who put me in here and I told her name. She shut the door again I waited another 20 minutes for someone to come in to do my physical. Seems the girl who did my vitals did not follow whatever protocol they have to let people know someone was in the exam room.
First time I went was to fix a different facilities (avacado) mistake turn fist sized hematoma. They were slow/available; I thought they were great. Prompt treatment , everyone was very nice. About to go right now in fact.
I went in as an urgent care visit. The lady at the desk first said that they only see patients for workers comp. I told her I had been to that location before and she gave me attitude. She then said it was okay but she would like to see my insurance I showed it to her and said we don’t take this insurance. I told her it was weird because I had been to this same location and they had took it. She then said let me verify and then went ahead and took my payment which she made a big deal of that she couldn’t take cash. I felt like at first I was being denied care and was trying to make all excuses for me not to be seen. I was in a lot of pain to have to be dealing with all the things she said.
I visited Concentra on Saturday for my pre-employment screening and had an excellent experience. Even though the clinic was busy, the staff was efficient, organized, and attentive. The medical assistant was very informative and clearly explained all of the employer-required testing. I also want to recognize the team for their patience and compassion during my blood draw. My veins are extremely small and difficult to access, but the staff remained gentle, kind, and determined to make the process as comfortable as possible. Truly a compassionate and professional care team — I appreciated their effort and the level of care they provided. Highly recommended.❤️🩹
I am currently going thru a physical work injury experience and I was really confused about the process and appointment scheduling till I called in and got Jen on the line. She was so very helpful and immediately got to work on getting me into a better place. She immediately knew how to schedule me appropriately and get the process moving again. It was literally a weight lifted off me and I could breathe again. A mere "thank you* doesn't quite cover it. I am so very grateful. Thank you so much, Jen.--Marian
