I had such a terrible experienced with Crate&Barrel. Getting around the area and parking underground is very frustrating but I wanted to get this really nice "growing up" book for my newborn grandson. When we got inside the store, we were looking around for the book, none of the employees ever asked if they could help which was not a big deal. Until we finally decided to ask. It was not available, but they could order online for us. I paid in full, we were told they will call once it arrives or send an email. After a week, I tried to follow up, the staff who answered my call was not friendly at all. It hasn't arrived yet. After 3 weeks, I said there's no way it has not arrived yet. I called, the male staff said the book already arrived 11 days ago and I could pick up the book. I did not say anything when I heard about it. I wanted to go to the store in person and complain. When we arrived at the store, I tried to be calm. I asked the staff, that I was picking up an order. I pretend, it just happened I was around the area and wanted to follow up, I didn't say I called their store the day before. The staff said, perfect timing for you the book just arrived today. I said no, it arrived 11 days ago, then he said oh let me check again. He said oh yeah,sorry my fault. I asked why I did not get any calls. He said they contact the customer either by phone or emails. I said, no calls nor received any emails even nothing in " spam." He apologized and mentioned it is not going to happen again. I said, it is not going to happen again because I am not coming back again, ever.
Crate & Barrel sales reps are usually helpful, but Zahra (Zara) is on a whole different level. I had a few questions about one of the vases and asked a gentleman, but the answer wasn’t very clear. We were honestly about to leave the store disappointed. That’s when Zahra noticed we still had questions and stepped in. The way she took care of us was amazing. She really listened, understood exactly what we were looking for, and explained everything clearly. If it wasn’t for her, we would have walked out empty-handed. She didn’t stop there either. She made sure the large vase we bought as a gift was wrapped and boxed perfectly and made sure we were happy before we left. People like Zahra are the reason a brand truly shines.
We are very disappointed with our recent order. We purchased a backpack and a matching lunch bag for our friend’s daughter, who is celebrating her birthday on September 28. We placed the order two weeks prior, expecting both items to arrive together and on time for the celebration. Unfortunately, only one part of our order was processed—the lunch bag—while the backpack was never processed. This defeats the purpose of buying the matching set. To make matters worse, we only received an email about this issue one week before the birthday, leaving us with very little time to adjust. Now, the lunch bag is scheduled to arrive after the birthday, which makes it inconvenient and unusable as the intended gift. This experience has been very disappointing, and we hope your team can improve communication and fulfillment accuracy so this doesn’t happen to other customers.
Had a day full of errands and had bad customer service at most of the places. Went to do return and pick up at this location and was welcomed by friendly lady who was working at the tilt around 12:30pm. It definitely makes difference when you bump into people like her. Had no issue with anything I needed and she was very helpful.
Beautiful designs, just very pricy! The quality did not necessarily seem to justify the price. Lots of lovely wooden table options, did not see anything we liked from other materials. The chair prices were actually shocking, i understand the table but the chairs are so basic.
