I’ve always admired Crate & Barrel for its commitment to beauty, comfort, and thoughtful living. That’s why I feel compelled to share something that’s been on my heart during recent visits. Each time I’ve been in the store, I’ve noticed that the restroom does not reflect the same level of care and attention that defines the rest of the space. It often appears unclean and unattended, which can be surprising and a bit disheartening, especially for a brand known for such elevated standards. Bathrooms are small spaces, but they leave a lasting impression. They communicate care, respect, and presence. When they’re overlooked, it can quietly take away from an otherwise lovely customer experience. I share this not as criticism, but as an invitation. An invitation to bring the same intention and pride that lives on the sales floor into every corner of the store. This feels like an easy opportunity for improvement and alignment with the values Crate & Barrel represents so well. I hope this is received in the spirit it’s offered—with appreciation for the brand, and optimism that this can be addressed thoughtfully and promptly.
I wish I can give this store a zero I walked in the store at 1:20. I left out in 10 minutes after no one asked me if I needed help, I Even went so far to walk back in and made eye contact with several employees and nothing. Maybe I didn’t look the part but I was on my lunch break trying to purchase a mixer. Well I guess I’ll go try with another company.
We had a wonderful experience with Johnathan and Sophia. We ordered our furniture for our babies room and Sophia was extremely patient during the entire process. The items were also very high quality, unfortunately, the color did not match our room and we had to make some changes. Johnathan went above and beyond for us and made sure we were completely satisfied. Customer satisfaction was Johnathans first priority and it showed! We are super happy with the results and very satisfied with the customer service we received. If you are considering new furniture from Crate and Barrel, please ask for Sophia she is patient and extremely detailed. Highly recommend!
I ordered an Espresso machine that was on sale for $1200 and paid with my credit card, but I never got any email saying it had been shipped. So 10 days later I decided to call, and that’s when I found out that the order had been canceled, even though the money was already on hold on my credit card for several days. I never received an email saying there was an issue with my payment or that the order had been canceled. When I callen, the first person who answered had such a strong accent that I could barely understand her. She couldn’t tell me the reason why my order had been canceled. I called again, spoke with another lady and she told me there had been a problem with my payment, but that I could go ahead and place the order again, so I decided to try again. They honored the sale price even though the machine was already back to its regular price of $1,500. This time I decided to pay with my debit card to avoid any issues. And what happened the next day? My order was canceled again!!! Once again, without any kind of notification. According to them, it was due to a payment issue, but when I called my bank, they told me there was no problem at all. I called the company again, and honestly, they just didn’t know what to say anymore. Honestly, I don’t recommend this store at all; it’s a joke and one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had. I won’t be buying from them again.
