Had a chain repaired here, needed the clasp replaced. Price was fair and it was done within 2 days. I highly recommend Dane for your jewelry repair needs. They also have a wide slection of diamond and gemstone jewelry.
I accidentally broke my mom’s 1979 Gucci watch, just a few days after she passed it down to me. I brought it into the Gucci store at the Green Hills mall, and it was sent off to see if anything could be done to repair. Two weeks later, I was told that Gucci could not repair such a vintage piece, due to not having the parts. They did not have any suggestions, and many jewelry repair shops do not touch designer items. When searching repair shops online, Dane was nearby, and seemed to have a longstanding reputation. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they were still open, late on a Saturday night! I’ve walked through Hillsboro Village hundreds of times, but have never gone inside Danes! The sign outside says Peacocks, but since it was the only jeweler on the block, I went inside. There were 5 people working inside, and each of them asked if they could help me. They reassured me that I was in the right place, and that they were undergoing renovations. I was amazed when Peter, the repairman, took my watch into his room and immediately began working to find a matching piece. He wasn’t sure if he would have anything that would work, but he was determined, and I was so appreciative! I perused the display cases while he hunted, and in just about 7 minutes, he had already attached a perfect piece to fit on my wrist. I am eternally grateful and will defer to Dane Jewelers for all my repairs and purchases from here on out! I also had the chance to meet the owners, a father and son team, who were both so kind. It was amazing to receive such great service from them and their team, especially on a Saturday night! I drove by other jewelry stores after, all of which had turned off their lights of the evening. Meanwhile, Dane Jewelers was personally serving multiple customers. I’m so glad they’re in the process of renovating their store, rather than moving off the block, as so many other businesses have had to do. Support old Nashville!
Donnie is AMAZING!! Took my engagement ring in and he had it resized in a matter of minutes. He has over 40 years of experience. Good conversation and great business. Fair pricing. Love this place!! He only takes check or cash. So, come prepared.
Look are deceiving. This whole in the wall jewelry shop, ran by Donnie, was everything we had hoped and more. Brought in a sterling silver ring to be resized, did it in 10 minutes and you can’t tell that it was even cut open. Ran by a very personable man that does great jewelry work. I will definitely be going back with all my jewelry repair needs and I highly recommend this place.
Je viens d'arriver à Nashville pour affaires et j'avais besoin de faire réparer ma montre. J'ai appelé Mr Walls, qui se trouvait à distance de marche de mon hôtel. Il a remis ma montre en marche en moins de dix minutes et à un prix très raisonnable. Je recommande vivement ce monsieur. Excellent service client. Je donnerais dix étoiles si je pouvais.
