Called to see about getting my dog’s teeth brushed. Immediately the lady said “well are you talking about with a grooming session? Yeah they do that with an additional fee “, keep in mind, I didn’t even get a chance to answer. I said “Do you guys have a service where she can get her teeth cleaned?” The lady says and I quote “Well I wouldn’t just go to a place to go get my dog's teeth cleaned..” The audacity! Then she continued, I guess to double down on being rude says “ And if you haven’t been brushing their teeth since a young age then..” I stopped her there. “Ma’am, I do brush her teeth. I wanted them professionally done, like when you go to the dentist to get a cleaning..actually nvm. I have a better place in mind” I was instantly disgusted by the 2 minute convo where she implied she wouldn’t do something I would do by trying to insult me with an upsell immediately. Whoa! I only called bc it’s the closest to the house. I literally just came from BROOKSIDE BARKERY where I met 5-6 helpful girls. One over the phone, and 4-5 in person. One whom went to get a harness for my dog from downstairs when their sales floor didn’t have anymore. They even went to ask their groomer how much to paint my dog’s nails. Even told me about how they will dye your dog’s hair with safe dye if needed! And my dog LOVED their treat I just gave her. I was literally just price checking something close to home to have her teeth cleaned from time to time professionally and now I have to write a review about how rude that person was on the phone. Get some better customer service. I wouldn’t trust my dog there to even LOOK AROUND. If you can be rude and suggestive in a 2 minute conversation I could only IMAGINE the treatment in person! Two thumbs down. And because they were so rude I wouldn’t be surprised if they respond in a condescending manner. What do they have to lose if they lack integrity already? What’s the alternative besides showing some class. Yuck what a terrible representation of the HEART OF KANSAS CITY!!!! Go to BROOKSIDE BARKERY INSTEAD!!! They have grooming and treats and amazing customer service and it’s only 10 minutes away from this place!!!!!!!!!! AND it was suggested by my neighbor by word of mouth and it was just as nice and friendly as she said and she’s in her 80s!!!

This place is a gem in our neighborhood. We have been taking one of our dogs for nail trims, for a while now. We finally decided to give them a try on boarding. The communication was outstanding, the space is clean and they dogs are treated like their own. I have already booked them in for our next trip. If you are looking for somewhere to board your dog or for a day of play give Doggie Style Boutique a try. Really wish I had found them earlier.

Gretchen and her crew always does an amazing job with Nolan and Paco! They’ve always been skittish with previous groomers but they have made the boys so comfortable and handsome! Definitely recommend them each time!!
