The sushi and hand roll course is a great choice since you get to pick two different rolls to try. That miso black cod was amazing and definitely the best part of the meal.
DomoDomo in Jersey City delivered one of the most confident meals l've had in a while. The chef's choice sushi was flawless fresh, balanced, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The raw sampler, especially the tuna cone, disappeared in seconds. Standouts included the silky steamed egg custard, rich Wagyu carpaccio, and buttery miso black cod. The Korean fried chicken was shockingly addictive and worth ordering every time. Even the desserts tiramisu and matcha cheesecake were hard to choose between. If you're looking for a place that blends luxury, comfort, and flavor without trying too hard, this is it.
We had the Domokase, very clever naming. Great value for what you are getting here. Every bite was delicious. It was nice to have some plates that you could pick to tailor to your taste
8.5 Potato Croquette 7 Egg Salad 6.75 Korean Fried Chicken 6.5 Hojicha Tiramisu Food was decent. Korean Fried chicken was good but not sure if ill buy it again, plus some parts of the chicken was stringy. Hojicha tiramisu was good and kind of average but not anything groundbreaking.
This place was fantastic! We tried the domokase and every dish was spot on. It started with a delicious raw sampler (tuna cone, yuzu oyster, and wagyu), followed by a bright, citrusy yellowtail ceviche. The miso black cod was cooked perfectly, and the chef’s choice sushi was super fresh. For hand rolls, we went with scallop and spicy yellowtail, both amazing. We picked the matcha cheesecake and sesame pudding for dessert. Service was great too, dishes came out right on time, and the staff was really friendly. Can’t wait to come back!
