I moved to DC 4 years ago, and one of the hardest things for me was finding a new stylist. I tried so many different salons and nothing ever felt quite right. About a year ago, I found Ferro Salon from an article on DC salons and I’ve been going here ever since. I looked over the “Team” bios on their website and thought Kelsey would be a great fit for me. I get my hair colored and like to try new things. Kelsey has a great eye for color and I couldn’t be happier with the whole team at Ferro salon. Highly recommend !
I’m updating my previous review to reflect the fact that after my initial experience, the salon owner made the time to connect with me directly, listened to what went wrong, and went above and beyond to make things right. I appreciated the professionalism and willingness to address the issues I raised. I’m glad to see the salon values its customers and is committed to addressing concerns. Thank you for turning the situation around and for being so thoughtful.
If you need anything related to balayage or extensions Wesley is the stylist to see! I came in with extensions that were not great quality and natural hair that was not healthy in the slightest. He got me fixed up immediately and I’m shocked now at just how healthy my hair has gotten and how long it has grown under the extensions. He’s really a master with color as well and blends the root on the extensions with my natural color so that it grows out so naturally. Definitely go see Wesley!!
Wesley does the best red hair on the East Coast! I am a natural redhead, and very picky when I want to play up any of the tones and go brighter or darker. Every time I have a specific vision in mind, Wesley executes it masterfully. I also have extremely thick hair that’s naturally wavy, and Wesley does a great haircut/layers for girlies with tons of hair and texture! I’ve been to Ferro salon several times now and know that I’m getting the best care that really makes a difference even on days when I can’t do much to my appearance. You’re not just paying for hair, you’re investing in your confidence, self-expression, and being the best version of yourself, and I love that Wesley approaches styling hair exactly like that!
First time client and I loved it. Definitely going back very soon🤍 Great location. Beautiful Salon. Everyone were so nice and talented from wash to style. Mustafa did a fantastic job. He was very careful and my color turned out what exactly I wanted. My hair feels healthy and shiny . They also sent me home with a goodie bag since i was a first time client. Highly recommended this place .
