The Flat Iron in Manchester is fantastic, from staff to service and thats before I even say how good the food is. I visit Manchester every month and will keep coming back here when I am able because everything they do is top tier. Big shout out to Claudia who was friendly and super attentive and I saw how hard all the staff work to make this place as good as it is!

What a visit! Were there for a champions league match and stumbled into Flat Iron thanks to their menu in the windows. Never have I ever witnessed such a great restaurant! Got free popcorn and water for the wait, a very nice and cozy atmosphere and an incredibly friendly waiter. Big shoutout to Aldo, who lifted the evening to a whole new level. Steak was great! When I didn’t enjoyed English-rare, Aldo didn’t hesitate to get my food back to the kitchen to let it be cooked to medium. Didn’t even take s minute. Drinks were also top. Icing on the cake was a few softice when leaving. Will remember this for a long time!
First visit after talking about it for a while with my partner, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. We made a late lunch booking and service was prompt from the start. We upgraded to the Wagyu sirloin (450g) to share and had it medium rare, the only way to do it, and it was absolutely delicious. Paired with peppercorn sauce, we also ordered a trio of sides, from beef dripping chips to crispy bone marrow garlic mash and truffle mac and cheese. Every bite was thoroughly enjoyed. Drinks were great, and most importantly, this place offers incredible value for money. The complimentary ice cream at the end was a lovely touch and very tasty. Friendly, responsive service throughout made this a genuinely pleasant dining experience.
