My family and I went for the 3 course January deal. The ceaser salad was delicious and the potted beef and bacon starter was also delicious. All of our steaks were cooked to perfection and the Mac and cheese was a delight
I recently visited this steakhouse and had an overall pleasant experience. I ordered the fillet steak, which was very tasty and clearly good quality. The slices in the middle were cooked medium as requested, although the first and last slices were a little burned on the edges. The flavour was still very good overall. The service was excellent — the waiters were incredibly respectful, polite, and attentive, which really added to the experience. There was also a great selection of drinks to choose from. The restaurant has a very posh, high-end feel and is on the more expensive side. The darker décor seems like an attempt to create a romantic atmosphere, which may appeal to some, though personally I found it a bit too dark. Overall, it was a nice experience with great service and good food, and with a few small tweaks it could be even better. I would recommend!
So we opted for the set menu and it was honestly absolutely fantastic. The quality of the food was just incredible, it was truly unbelievable! The service was also excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance and overall atmosphere, and we would definitely be going back again.
WOW!!! I have been to Hawksmoor for their Sunday roast before, but this time I brought my little sister for her first ever steakhouse experience — and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing, from start to finish. Every member of staff was so lovely, but a special mention has to go to our server ROB!! , who was incredible. He made us feel soooo welcome —honestly like VIPs and added such a personal touch to the whole evening. An unforgettable experience and the perfect place for a first steak night. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you.
Everything at Hawksmoor was amazing. We got the Sunday roast which was delicious, the meat was perfectly pink, the roasties crisp and the Yorkshire pudding was crisp and fluffy at the same time. I got the Boatyard martini, and it was probably the best martini I’ve ever had. Augustus was our server and truly gave us the best service we could’ve asked for. He was very attentive and considerate, and when he noticed my friend wasn’t feeling well he did everything he could to try and make her experience better. Truly a great start to a gloomy Sunday day.
