Had some amazing sourdough pizza in Edinburgh and it was totally worth the wait. The place was packed and we waited around 30 minutes for a seat, but honestly, no regrets. The pizzas were super tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell why it’s always crowded. If you don’t mind waiting a bit for really good pizza, this spot is definitely worth checking out.
We visited this place last November, and we still remember that night. The pizza was amazing. Even though they were busy, Hampy was incredibly kind. He was serving with an injured hand and still managed to give us great service, which we really appreciated. The only downside was the long wait, so I’d give three stars for the serving time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a night we won’t forget.
A wonderful Italian gem in the heart of Edinburgh. From the moment you step inside, it truly feels like being in Italy — warm, welcoming, and full of character. The food is authentic and beautifully prepared, with fresh ingredients and rich flavours in every dish. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxed, family-style atmosphere. A perfect place for anyone craving genuine Italian cuisine and hospitality. Highly recommended 🇮🇹
I visited this restaurant yesterday, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Everyone was friendly and professional but I want to give special mention to one member of the team in particular — Giampiero he was exceptionally kind, attentive, and consistently made sure we had everything we needed. His service truly elevated our experience. One of the highlights was watching the pizza dough being prepared right in front of us — such a simple thing, yet it added so much charm, and you could instantly tell they care about quality. We ordered a Five Cheese Pizza and a Prosciutto Pizza, and both were incredibly flavorful. The dough was perfect, light yet crispy, and the toppings were rich and delicious.We also tried the Tuscan sausage with cheese on top, which was packed with flavor and cooked beautifully. And to finish things off, we had a Nutella pizzetta for dessert The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm, lively, and genuinely enjoyable. A fun surprise was the little game they offered where you pick a number for a chance to win a prize. We actually won a flour bag — which is perfect because we’re planning to start making our own pizzas soon! Such a fun and unique touch.
The pizza had a soft yet chewy crust with a rich wheat flavor. The spicy salami on top had a unique smoky taste, and the tomato sauce was fresh and mild, perfectly balanced. The mascarpone on the tiramisu was light and delicate, making it a perfect dessert to end the meal. Our server, Mr. Giampiero, was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Whether you’re dining with friends or enjoying a meal alone, this restaurant is a great choice.
