I reviewed the online store beforehand, so I arrived with my sister fully intending to purchase some earrings, however the staring by the salesperson was so blatant and uncomfortable we ended up leaving without buying anything. I understand the need to monitor your merchandise, but find a better way because the staring (even changing positions to get a better view, never taking her eyes off us) doesn’t make for a nice shopping experience.
Over a year ago now I purchased the diamond evil eye necklace made of gold, real diamonds and opal. It is stunning and I haven’t taken it off since. This Christmas my boyfriend gifted me a 4 diamond cluster necklace that ended up breaking upon receiving and Gorjana replaced it in store the same day, free of charge and even cleaned the chain on my original necklace. They have my business now and in the future.
This review is not based on the store but the company itself. I am from Washington and I placed an order online to pick up in store but I was still charged the sales tax. I’ve always picked up in Oregon and didn’t have to pay sales tax for other companies . I emailed the company only for them to say that my billing address was in Washington thus the sales tax and it didn’t matter if I picked it up in store. I sent another email only for them to not reply. After this experience, I don’t think I will be back.
Maya was super kind, patient, and helpful which made my shopping experience delightful. I’ve had some poor experiences shopping for jewelry with pushy and/or judgy sales people, but shopping at Gorjana was the complete opposite. I definitely will be back in the future, thanks Maya!
I had such a great first visit! I absolutely love my new heart chain — it’s quickly become one of my favorite pieces. This shop is definitely going on my list of top spots for cute, quality staple jewelry. I’ll definitely be back!
