The Drs and staff were wonderful. I was traveling from out of town and had an emergency need. The staff and Drs at Grand Lake Optometry took me in on very short notice and professionally addressed my emergent need. They truly went above and beyond for a non returning customer. I would strongly recommend Grand Lake Optometry to anyone looking for a new optometrist. And thank you again to everyone there for helping me out in my time of need!!
I was very impressed to get an appointment today at Grand Lake Optometry. I called on Monday and was put in a wait list, and received a call late yesterday that I could be seen. It was important for me to get in prior to year end and use my EyeCare benefits. Dr. Cheung was kind enough to come in and see patients on her off day as a result of the wait list. I love the energy in the practice and the staff is truly professional!
Grand Lake Optometry really impressed me from start to finish. Scheduling online was straightforward, and I was glad my insurance was accepted without any complications. The exam itself stood out—very detailed, and they use advanced imaging equipment that gave me a clear picture of my eye health. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming and professional. The doctor explained things in a way that was easy to understand and made sure I felt comfortable asking questions. I appreciated how upfront they were about what my insurance covered, and I never felt pushed to make a purchase. They simply laid out the options and let me decide. It’s rare to find a clinic that combines efficiency, transparency, and genuine care, but Grand Lake Optometry does exactly that. I left feeling confident about my vision care and grateful for the experience.
I recently visited this optometry office for the first time after a friend recommended it, and I’m so glad I did. The space is beautiful, calm, and thoughtfully designed, with a large collection of eyewear to choose from. Everyone I interacted with was courteous, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. Dr. Hansen is truly exceptional. She is patient, kind, and an excellent listener. She answered all of my questions clearly and took the time to offer helpful suggestions without ever making me feel rushed. I genuinely felt cared for throughout the entire visit. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for outstanding eye care.
Not sure if/how an office could be run more efficiently. Nicely done! Everyone I interacted with was extremely pleasant from check-in to final payment. I really felt listened to and cared for. Dr. Cheung was wonderful, informative, competent, confident, and simply fun. She helped me see (lol) things more clearly. I was provided options at the end of my exam, with opportunities to purchase frames, etc; but of importance to me, was not pushed to purchase anything - feeling more a patient as opposed to an open wallet. Huge kudos for being the primary eye CARE providers I always thought optometrists should be. Thank you.
