We needed an electrical service upgrade to accommodate a Level 2 EV charger. These guys were great -- the job presented some unforseen challenges but they stuck with it (on New Year's Eve!). It was a 12 hour workday from them, but it's a clean, professional installation.
Had an issue with my one year old water heater. When I turned on my faucet, I got water at first, but then it dribbled to nothing. I am pretty good at figuring out problems around the house, but this stumped me. Called Greenwood. They said it would be sometime between 1 and 8 for their technician. He arrived around 2:15. After evaluating everything, it was a simple fix. The little box that sits on top of the water heater and regulates the safety valve has 4 Bain it. They were dead! When they died, the valve shut. New batteries and I had water. I knew what that box was, but didn’t know about the batteries Now I do! Great job done by Tyler Stevenson.
Excellent service from start to finish! The team replaced my home gas furnace and did an outstanding job. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and explained everything clearly. The installation was done professionally, and my new furnace runs smoothly and quietly. The technicians were respectful, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was cleaned up afterward. I'm happy with the whole experience and highly recommend Greenwood Heating and Home Services to anyone needing heating, air, electrical & plumbing services!
I recently purchased a home in West Seattle and had my two gas furnaces serviced by Greenwood Heating. The technician, Aryan, was very detailed in explaining the work he performed including switching out the filters, diagnostic testing, and identifying critical safety issues as both systems were installed about 25 years ago. It was clear by the test results and pictures of the scope work he completed that it was time to replace them as I had a hole in one of my units that was leaking carbon monoxide . Since I was planning on getting a bid for a new system, Aryan proactively reached out to his colleague, Jonathan, to explain the situation. Jonathan, the sales person, did an outstanding job expediting the order and facilitating the furnace replacement process end to end. He was very transparent and put together a very detailed bid that outlined all the services, warranties, and product information. Brennan, installation technician, did an Excellent job removing the old furnaces, installing the new ones, and showing me how to operate the system. Additionally, he and his assistant were incredibly thorough in cleaning up. I highly recommend Greenwood Heating. They have a stellar reputation in the Seattle market and I’m so grateful that I decided to use their services again as they installed furnaces for me many years ago while I lived in Queen Anne and did an amazing job. It’s nice to know that the continuity of professionalism and excellence is still there.
Was incredibly pleased with Greenwood’s team, from Lori in sales, Alex and Jared (furnace/mechanical), Brandon (AC)/the electricians / the whole team! The City inspector came a few days after the job was completed and commented “they did excellent work.. no issues at all!” A+!
