I went for a piercing about a month ago and unfortunately the person (Crystal ) that pierced my piercing put it of centre. I went back a month later to see the owner of the shop and the main piercer Sophia. She agreed that it was off centre and offered to re-pierce it for free. Sophia and the owner were not the one who did the piercings, but they were the one who offered to correct it! They were so polite and made me feel OK to ask them questions. The piercer that did my piercing is no longer with them. I’ve never met such a kind group of people and so professional. In no way does this reflect the shop with the piercer that is no longer with them because every other thing that has come out of there is amazing work unfortunately the person just wasn’t a good fit. As a business owner myself, I know this happens unfortunately. Sometimes people come in with a great attitude and a hard work ethic and then they give up and it shows in their work so thankfully, they corrected the problem and let the person go.
My first tattoo and Ryvn Grey was such a treat to work with. I really did appreciate her understanding of "clean technique" and not cross contaminating. That gave me great confidence for post tattoo care. In my opinion her work was great and I am extremely happy with the results. Thank you Ryvn and Grimm studios for a very enjoyable first time experience!
I had an amazing experience here. Called ahead for a walk-in. The staff at the front desk were super welcoming and helpful, got me set up and helped me with parking. Then they got me to sit upstairs (really nice lounge area) and wait for the next available piercer. A bunch of people were getting tattooed/pierced and the vibes seemed great. I got called for piercing 20-30 mins later, Crystal walked me through the piercing, and within 2 minutes it was done. I got a rook, my first non-lobe piercing so I was a little nervous. Other than the pain, it was so seamless. Healing has been great too, 100% because of Crystal's work and skill. Haven't experienced any of the scary infection/swelling/discharge, literally can't even feel it 2 weeks in. I'd definitely come back again, because the experience gave me a longing for a couple more piercings eventually 🤭
I love this tattoo and piercing studio. They have very talented tattoo artists and piercers. I also have so much respect for its owner Memphis Mori. She and her staff run the studio so well. It is always super clean, the place is beautiful, everyone can feel welcome, and they get involved with LGBTQIA2+ charities and fundraisers and do so much for the community. Highly recommend it for all those reasons!
