Gufo is a small but amazing café in Vancouver. The square croissant is too good, the coffee is excellent, and the sandwiches are fresh and delicious. Cozy little place with great quality — absolutely worth stopping by.☕🥐
A really cute coffee spot! I stopped here on a whim while exploring the city and I’m glad I did. I got one of their speciality coffees and it was delicious. Flavorful without being syrupy, and you could taste the coffee without it being watered down. Staff was incredibly friendly, and you also get a cute little sticker once you purchase your drink. They have some seating available inside, so definitely stop by if you need a little drinky drink!
Guffo Cafe is such a lovely spot with a truly warm and cozy atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the staff make you feel genuinely welcome and comfortable. The quality of their treats is excellent, the croissant was fresh and perfectly flaky, and the pistachio cube was absolutely delicious. Paired with a great cup of coffee, it’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the moment. Highly recommended
Another big yes for Guffo! My husband and I went to the new location near Roger's arena while staying at the YWCA hotel. We will be going back for sure. Fantastic coffee, food, and hospitality! We got an oat latte and oat milk caramel macchiato as well as the ham and cheese croissant and gritto sandwich. Definitely get their ham and cheese croissant, it was top notch. The gritto egg and veggie sandwich was also fantastic and great portion for the price. They do all the details right. No extra charge for alternative milk and the hot latte was actually hot unlike a place we went a day prior. Not to mention the little owl, Guffo, on the cups is super cute... we learned Guffo is from an Italian cartoon.
GUFFO Café in downtown Vancouver really nails the basics in the best way possible. Their milk coffees are incredibly fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced you can actually taste the quality in every sip. The sandwiches are simple but delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions, and the pastries are soft, flaky, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place where everything you order feels like a little treat, without trying too hard to be fancy. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, not just polite. They remember faces, smile, and make you feel comfortable right away. The vibe inside is super cozy: soft lighting, comfy seating, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to sit down, unwind, or catch up with a friend. It’s also a great spot to take a short break in the middle of a busy day. I find myself popping in whenever I’m nearby, whether it’s for a quick coffee, a snack, or just a few quiet minutes to myself. It’s become one of those reliable, feel-good cafés I’m always happy to return to. Total win definitely go if you’re in the area.
