Been on many tours of Oahu, both group and private, but this was the best. Michael is an amazing guide, knows the area well and is very knowledgeable about Hawaiian history also. Great resource for local foods and restaurants. Designed a custom tour to the North Shore, covering areas we had not been to before, and it was fantastic. Michael is very personable and entertaining. Great private tour, highly recommend.

Awesome Tour! Our guide Michael was accommodating, fun, and super knowledgeable! We learned a ton about the island and saw some great spots. He even managed to get us up close and personal with sea turtles which was our kids only request. Michael is the man! ALOHA!

Michael was phenomenal, super-helpful, and while it was sad to leave home after a week in Oahu, he made the journey from the hotel to the airport a delightful one where we really felt like we got to experience a lot more of the island. He was an incredible resource about the culture, the geography, and the tips and tricks to getting around. An incredible value for your money. Highly recommended and totally worth it!

Our experience with Hali'a Tours was exceptional in every way from start to finish. Prior to reserving our spot for a Community Service Eco Tour, I called and was given some options on how we could plan the community service portion and what was reasonable to see and do in a 9-hour circle tour. With that information, we did our research and came up with our list of activities to include with our reservation. On the day of our tour, our tour guide, Michael, arrived at our hotel on time and was super friendly immediately. He went over our itinerary and schedule with us to ensure everything was as we planned. Michael was positive, friendly, and had a “can do” attitude the entire time. He was very knowledgeable about the island and frequently shared about its history and the culture. He also knew many wonderful places to stop for food, which we all appreciated. Most were local places that, for us, provided the kind of experience we were looking for. We cannot say enough positive things about Michael and Hali'a Tours. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we got to see and do and our circle tour is a highlight of our visit to O’ahu. Michael exceeded our expectations, and I will absolutely recommend his tour company to my family and friends.

Michael hosted me and my mom on amazing two day adventure on our first trip to Oahu. His love for Hawaii is palpable and he wants you to love it too. He went above and beyond making a special trip for us even presenting us with fresh leis on the second day. I highly recommend you tour with him. I hope to come back to Oahu someday and see him again. He is an amazing human
