Excellent work, done quickly and well. Would be 5 stars, except I almost never give 5; something has to exceed my highest expectations. Their work ... No. I've talked myself into changing it to 5 stars. Certainly over 4-1/2, which isn't an option anyway.
Always a great experience using House Doctors Handyman. They show up as scheduled, pricing is reasonable, and the quality of work is consistently solid. Reliable, professional, and easy to work with—highly recommend.
Work was quoted at a higher than competition rate but with good reviews, seemed worth the risk. Very big mistake. Upon "completion" was given a bill over 20% over quote and had negotiate down a 10% makeup for a job that was 2-3 longer than quoted. Once they left, the pocket door fell off the guide and I put it back on so it worked. Found they didnt screw a lock in the correct spot but it was very simple easy fix. Once I put the door backup, they weren't flush into the pocket anymore. House Dr's said because I put the door back in myself, that I voided any warranty they had to honor and after almost 2 months of back and forth where they said they would try to solve it, they said, not our warranty and would fix it for more money. DO NOT RECOMMEND, GO WITH A PRIVATE CONTRACTOR WHO KNOWS WHAT THE VALUE OF A GOOD AND TIMELY JOB MEANS.
Mike came out right away and took a look at what Work needed to be done. He got Back to me very quickly with estimates and as soon as I agreed and told him to get started, I had an appointment booked for the next day. Bret, a very personable guy, came out. He was right on time, got right to work. Took care of everything, did a great job & cleaned up thoroughly. My new porch lights look great!!!!And the siding and flagpole repair look great as well. Bret had very good attention to detail, and answered all my questions. I will have them back for any future projects.
2023 I had Michael’s crew remove wood from two gates and place chain-link on them. They did a great job! They also help me with something else while they were there! They answered any, and all questions I had. Communication with Michael was great as well, very nice! 04-19-24 I had Michael return to do another job which was removing some railroad ties from my property. Again, so impressed with the job done! I had emailed him in the morning and by that evening, the railroad ties were gone. The price was right, job well done! Sept. 2024 I had Michael and his crew help me with capping some of my sprinklers off (I had removed some grass) that I no longer needed. They also fixed my roof where a hole had formed from a bolt that was securing my power line coming into the house. AMAZING PEOPLE AS ALWAYS!!! House Doctors is like Superman.....where there is trouble, they are there! Love them!
