I think the classes are cool. Helps kids gain confidence, learn basic forms, and gives them something to do other than getting in trouble and playing with electronics. For that yea its cool. My issue is every 3 mon theres a belt test and generally kids pass cuztge parents pay for it. When i was growing up its took atleast 6mon to a year to earn a belt. I dont like partucipation trophies(belts)ⁿThan theres always a request for money. A donation or something. All i want is for my kid to learn to defend herself, be confident and have something constructive to do with her time. Not all the extra on top of the 200.00 plus i am paying for belt test and class practice. Aside from that my kid liked it so i shudnt complain
Very impressed with the teachers and structure here! We tried some other places and nowhere compares to Hwang's when it comes to structure and discipline. My son has fun while learning new things and learning self-control and respect. It's a win-win for the whole family!
Best decision I ever made was signing my grandson up at Hwangs. They have made a high impact on him and he loves it.
We love Hwang’s Martial Arts. It’s been an amazing experience for the whole family. If you are looking for a positive environment to learn self control, discipline and respect, this is the place for you.
Growing up at Hwang's Martial Arts has been one of the most formative experiences of my life. I started over 12 years ago as a shy kid. My parents joined me soon after, which made it even more special! Over the years, I learned not just the physical techniques of martial arts, but also invaluable life skills such as discipline, respect, goal-setting and perseverance. Now, as a young adult and an instructor myself, I have the privilege of passing on these lessons to the next generation of students. It's incredibly rewarding to see kids grow in confidence and skill, just as I did. Hwang's Martial Arts has provided me with a strong foundation and a supportive, inclusive community that feels like a second family. The values and principles instilled in me here continue to guide me in all aspects of my life. If you're looking for a place that offers more than just martial arts training, Hwang's Martial Arts is the perfect choice. It's a place where you can grow, learn, and become the best version of yourself.
