Love this store... Vast collection of books of all genres and there is also seating to flip through and preview the books. Apart from books, the store also has a nice collection of notebooks and planners. There are some clothing collection as well. There is a cafe within the bookstore to get coffee tea and something to eat. I usually land up spending couple of hours when I go here. The cashiers and staff are super nice and helpful. Highly recommend.
Indigo is like therapy for me. It always has satisfying items to browse and buy,not just books and journals, but also beautiful gifts, baby items, candles, décor, pajamas, and mugs. The best part is ending the visit with a coffee at its cozy café, Good Earth, which makes the whole experience even more relaxing.I enjoy it so much that I can easily visit the store four times a week and never get bored.
This is a clean and well organized stores, with lots of displays to inspire new reads, as well as a great stock of books available. They have a large selection of games, kids books and toys, and merch available as well. There is a coffee shop and clean accessible washrooms on the second floor. Staff were readily available on both floors to help as needed. The space is bright and welcoming.
Every time we are in Vancouver we have to stop at Indigo. It’s our favorite place to browse for books and puzzles. As a bonus if you’re hungry or thirsts there is an amazing cafe. Last time we bought a puzzle and some journals. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff onsite that can help you find exactly what you’re looking for even if you’re not sure what you’re looking for. Stop in and spend some time next time you’re on Robson street.
Indigo on Robson is one of those places where you can easily lose track of time. It’s not just a bookstore—it feels like a cozy hub for anyone who loves books, gifts, or simply a relaxing browse. The layout is spacious and modern, with plenty of natural light that makes wandering through the aisles feel inviting. The book selection is solid, with both bestsellers and niche titles, plus a nice section for kids and young readers. Beyond books, the store has a wide range of lifestyle items—home décor, journals, puzzles, and thoughtful gifts—so it’s great for last-minute shopping. The café upstairs is another bonus; it’s a comfortable spot to read or get some work done while sipping coffee. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, though it can get busy on weekends, which sometimes makes finding assistance a bit harder.
