My wife and I first time in Hawaii. The Açaí bowls and coffee were absolutely amazing. The granola was sweet and crunchy, the fruit was fresh, tart and sweet. It was also my second time trying açaí and it was an awesome! The texture was soft and smooth! Ordering ahead came in clutch. The lines today (1/2) were the shortest of the NYE holiday week.
Island Vintage Coffee in Waikiki is our favorite spot for fresh acai bowls. Every bite felt incredibly fresh, and their coffee is just as amazing. There’s usually a wait, which just shows how popular and good this place is. If you’re in Waikiki, don’t miss it—perfect for acai bowls and excellent coffee. They also offer online ordering for pickup, which is great if you want to skip the wait, since seating can be limited.
The açaí bowl was very refreshing and delicious. My island latte was also wonderful, had a very smooth finish. It took so long for food to be prepared, though. And if you order for here you have to pick up your own food. Prices were also on the high end. Located upstairs in a mall area, you cannot miss it. There were so many menu items I had to squint! My mom enjoyed her avocado toast.
We’ve visited Island Vintage Coffee a couple of times, and it never disappoints. Their açaí bowls are amazing — super fresh, flavorful, and definitely some of the best we’ve had. I also tried several of their Kona Mochas, including the coconut, banana, and macadamia versions, and every single one was great. Service is pretty fast, though there’s almost always a lineup, so it helps to come at a less busy time. They have some seating outside and a patio area as well, which is nice for relaxing and enjoying your food. Overall, a great spot in Waikiki for both coffee and açaí bowls. Highly recommend!
Their açaí bowls and milkshakes (both macadamia and taro) are very good! I recommend ordering online to avoid the gigantic line. I’ve only tried two of their plated dishes, and they weren’t great. I especially recommend against ordering the Sukiyaki Rice 😅 The beef didn’t taste fresh, the recipe was off, and I could even taste raw soy sauce in the background.
