The steakhouse is on the 5th floor of the Phoenician Resort. It has a bar area and a large, long dining room that it divided into semi-private sections offering tge feel of a smaller space. The dining room. Has full length windo-wall o erlookinf tge view with a balcony that many eaters use to take photos. The balcony has open fire pits. The service is efficient and friendly with the same server handling tge table from beginning to end. The food is great. See photos. Although a steakhouse, 3 of us went with fish mains. A salmon, teabags and a Dover sole which was debonair table side. The fish dishes were very tasty as was the steak and the 2 kids meals. The restaurant surprised us by recognizing our anniversary with a nice personalized dessert. All for consumed was great and so was the service
The food was delicious! There was a very nice atmosphere. Pretty elegant visually. The servers were very knowledgeable and friendly. If you try to make a reservation online and they don’t have your preferred time available, they may have it available if you call the restaurant. (Also, I ate some before I remembered to take a pic😩😂)
What an incredible experience at J & G Steakhouse! We celebrated a birthday dinner there, and everything from start to finish was exceptional. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a special night. The staff went above and beyond, offering warm smiles, attentive service, and even a thoughtful birthday surprise that made the evening extra memorable. The food was outstanding, every dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the sides complemented the meal beautifully. The cocktails and wine selection were equally impressive, and the dessert was the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable dinner. J & G Steakhouse made the celebration truly special. It’s clear the team takes pride in every detail, from presentation to service. This is a place that knows how to make guests feel celebrated. Highly recommend for any occasion especially when you want to make it one to remember!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Superior J&G Steakhouse completely exceeded expectations. The setting is absolutely stunning—sunset views over the mountains make it feel like a true Scottsdale gem. The service was top-notch from start to finish—professional, warm, and genuinely attentive without ever being overbearing. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, and the sides were just as impressive (heirloom tomato salad & roasted mushrooms are a must!). You can tell every detail is intentional—from the cocktails to the presentation. It’s the kind of place that makes any dinner feel like a special occasion. $$$$$ Must try; Heirloom Tomato Salad Chilled Lobster w/ lemon aioli Jumbo Shrimp cocktail East & West Coast Oysters Roasted Mushrooms Filet Mignon
My dinner at J&G Steakhouse was absolutely amazing. The view was incredible, with a scenic sunset patio that let us dine under the stars. The customer service was excellent, and the food was fresh and delicious. The wine selection was also fantastic. Overall, a sophisticated and memorable dining experience at the base of Camelback Mountain. Highly recommend it!
