Steve Flodman was so compassionate and kind. He explained everything & led me through this stressful situation with the most respect. I will always be thankful for his knowledge and encouragement. Everyone in the office, including the receptionist and his Assistant was very supportive and kind.
Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Services and Disrespect Toward Military Clients Update: I was pleasantly surprised to receive a personal follow-up from one of the owners after my initial post. He reached out to offer a sincere apology regarding how my inquiry was handled. He kindly explained that he is a former military member himself and that the confusion stemmed from outdated or incorrect information listed on the Nebraska State Bar’s website. It was never their intention to turn anyone away unfairly, and he acknowledged that the referral provided was to a firm that unfortunately does not handle contractual disputes. I truly appreciate the professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to make things right — it speaks highly of his character and the firm's commitment to integrity. Original Post: I am deeply disappointed with Johnson Flodman Guenzel & Wasserburger LLP in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their website proudly advertises services in contractual law, yet when I reached out for help regarding a clear contractual issue, they outright refused to assist. Even worse, as a military member, I expected at least a basic level of respect and consideration — instead, I was turned away without so much as a genuine explanation. Their public image does not match their actual behavior. If you are a military member, veteran, or someone who needs legal help based on what their website claims they offer, do not waste your time here. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a firm publicly advertise expertise and support, but in reality, show selective interest and dismiss those who serve. False advertising and dismissiveness toward service members is unacceptable — and it deserves to be called out.

Steven Guenzel is a stand-up attorney with integrity, heart, and a calm strength that helped guide me through a very messy conservatorship and guardianship case. Looking back on my divorce of 17 years ago i chose to edit my review. Based on the situation my ex wife left me in they did a fine job. Response times and thoroughness got much better as time went on. Steve F was always willing to share his insight and it all worked out.
I used the services of Steve Flodman to help with a family law matter. From the very start, Steve was professional and reassuring in what was a very rough time for me. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his understanding of my situation. I feel Steve put a lot of effort into doing what was right and lawful in representing and protecting me. Steve's assistant Carrie was also great to work with and filled the gaps to keep me informed.
