Magnificent place for their ramen. The black garlic ramen broth was out of this world. Nice hearty bowls that will fill you up. I will have to come back and try the rest of their menu, especially the sushi. The service was very fast and very friendly. The eastern wall is a large garage door for open air, summer dining. It also has a very nice bar.
This was genuinely one of the most disappointing ways to spend $90 I've come across. The red snapper looked and tasted old. The katsu extremely light on flavor and was a lot more thin than it looks in my photo. Ramen was extremely mediocre and fairly salty. I've had better meals in a factory cafeteria.
A good friend of mine and I had a wonderful time here. The Japanese esthetic is on point, wonderful service, Ramen, delicate and delicious sushi & well-cooked fried rice. You could tell that everything was cooked fresh and day of no tight dry shrimp or off flavors anywhere. Lastly that misogyny soup and apple sake... whew! 😆 so good. Literally my only single complaint was posed the manager by my friend cause night and day but... with all them folk there 🤏🏽❤️ but we all have our days. Looking to another wonderful meal.
Solid choice of Japanese food, I had the sushi platter. Delicious and good variety of fish. Would definitely go back!
Today I ordered two pieces of eel sushi and two pieces of shrimp sushi at Kawa Ramen & Sushi. Both were fresh and flavorful—the eel was tender with just the right amount of sweet-savory glaze, and the shrimp was clean-tasting with a nice, firm bite. Presentation was neat, and everything held together well. What made the experience even better was the service. My server, Neccy, was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right. Her warm personality really added to the meal and made us feel welcome. It was a small order this time, but the quality of the sushi and the great service stood out. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and will be looking forward to Neccy’s wonderful service again.
