I moved to Oakland from LA and had a really hard time finding THE spot to get my nails done! After few tries here and there, some really bad experience and some ok, I finally found KIM Nails, my first time here was right on New Year’s Eve and the place was packed, I was hopeless but when she finished my nails I couldn’t believe in how pretty they were, they also lasted like 3 weeks so I got back and again loved the result! So happy that I finally found THE spot!!
First time was amazing. Was greeted right away. They’re super friendly and welcoming. I showed Annie these cat eye nails I saw online and she replicated them exactly. I also got a pedi that was very gentle and relaxing. 100000% coming back. Actually, I’ll go as far as to say this will be my new go-to salon. Thank you to the team there at Kim’s Nails!
I’ve been coming here regularly for the last 6 months and cannot rave about this place enough! The quality of work is consistently good - I often switch around who does my nails and not only is everyone nice and communicative, my nails turn out perfectly every time and they last SO long. I really appreciate how mindful they are to not over-file nails or cut cuticles. I feel like my nails look and feel way healthier after coming here. It can get busy so definitely try to book in advance!
I haven't gotten my nails done in a while so I wasn't sure what place to go to. I ended up picking this place due to the reviews and I'm glad I did. I called ahead and I was a walk-in. My nails took about an hour and thirty minutes. It was done quickly and professionally, I'm very happy with how it turned out. The lady who did my nails was kind made sure to check in with me during the process. I asked for all black nails with a purple design and short, round nails. I got exactly that and it looked perfect! I got acrylics with a simple design. The total cost was $80.
Le did an AMAZING job on my nails. I’ve been in twice now and will continue to be back. I got a gel x set with nail art and this last time I got a gel x fill. Le was detailed, quick, and able to bring my reference photo to life - I was so impressed! The salon is clean and friendly and very efficiently run. I am including the photo of my nails right after I got them done and then FIVE weeks later. Even after five weeks they looked good and felt sturdy. I am pretty tough on my nails (cleaning, working out, etc.) and they continued to hold up perfectly. The other photo is my new set I just got done! Definitely recommend!
