I enjoyed dinner tonight with my wife at this quaint little establishment that I have known to be in the same location for the past 49 years.... and why I haven't before now even stepped inside of this nice little family-friendly diner is beyond me. I used to go to school just across the street from the place I am referring to from the 4th grade on and daily I would walk by and that was the extent of my knowledge of La Tapatia. But tonight, I decided to TREAT BOTH ME AND MY WIFE to the delicious cuisine prepared inside. Today I am disabled along with my wife and I took my wheelchair to gather our dinner. I didn't take into consideration the time factor and when I called ahead to order I was told very politely that she just wondered IF I COULD GET THERE within the next 10 minutes because they were closing. At the time, I was about 20 minutes away but I really wanted this dinner because Mexican Food is my wife's favorite and I wanted to see her SMILE.... GENUINELY. But, as I thought MORE about it I knew I couldn't make it there in the allotted time. So, respectfully I phoned back and told her I DON'T THINK I WOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE IT THERE IN TIME so maybe I could take a rain-check for the next night and bid her a nice evening and I would see her tomorrow. I called my wife and told her that they were closed and we'd go there tomorrow for dinner. And we decided on Taco Bell. Just before I started inside the door to Taco Bell I got a phone call from La Tapatia Restaurant telling me that IF I REALLY WANTED TO GET DINNER THERE TONIGHT for me to continue my Trek there because the crew decided to make my dinner for me and my wife and WHENEVER I GOT THERE, within reason, it'd be waiting for me at the cash register. I just happened to mention to her about BOTH OF US being disabled and in wheelchairs and THAT WAS THE REASON THEY DECIDED to go that EXTRA LITTLE BIT FOR US....she told me at the end of our conversation. I was not just deeply touched by their effort and compassion for Us, they pretty much gained a couple of LIFETIME CUSTOMERS. Not to mention their attitudes but the QUALITY OF THE FOOD was OFF THE CHAIN. TRUTHFULLY. So, again, Thank You goes out to the WHOLE CREW TONIGHT. From the time taken to stay after for US to the quality of the food. La Tapatia YOU SCORED A 20 TONIGHT..... a 10 for each endeavor....... THANK YOU ALL!!! 👊🏼👊🏼

Small family mexican restaurant. Everything cooked from scratch. Service was quick and drinks were continuously topped up. Had the guys from work there a few times and everyone had different dishes and all were fantastic. One of our go to places now!

Best mexican food in town. I see why they won Best in 2025 award. The service was excellent. Super clean too.

Started with the chips and salsa and the salsa I might say is the best I have ever had literally. I ordered the Le Fou burrito and my partner ordered the tapatia nachos and when we got our food the burrito was huge and oh so delicious and the nachos were great. I'm going to make an attempt to eat this burrito bye for now and if you haven't tried this place you need to come on down.
