Läderach certainly has some very delicious chocolates. But you will pay more than a penny. And they are worth it! Nice presentation in the store. Good people in the shop doing samples, demos and sales. I did feel the spiel at the door sounded souless. But of course how can a person in a shop sound enthusiastic after repeating such a generic and boring, but informative, script after more that a few times. They can't be enthusiastic But once the script was said they did light up with the questions I had to ask. Excellent upscale mall chocolates. Worth a stop Läderach for either yourself or a friend.
I came here the day before Christmas to pick up some treats for a party. Arrived about an hour after the store had opened and the mall was not busy at all, but the store’s shelves were empty with employees restocking shelves from cardboard shopping boxes all over on the sales floor. Total mess, should have been done before the store opened and certainly should never have boxes on the floor, bring stock in from the back if needed. Nobody was concerned with customers being there, was not greeted, nobody acknowledged the mess, really unprofessional. Seeing them unpack all of this from shipping containers really devalued all the pre-packaged stuff on the shelves - who knows how long they’ve been packed up in plastic. I went to select my own truffles from the counter to put together a few boxes but was told they don’t make gift boxes with truffles from the counter like the nicely packaged ones on display that get shipped in, they just toss them loose in a little paper takeaway box. The whole experience was just really trashy. The chocolates are good but not good enough to command the price with this really awful level of service and stale pre-packaged goods I could have bought at a grocery store. Really ruined my perception of this brand, I thought this would be a special treat for gifting but honestly I should have gone to See’s.
I got a box of truffles and some chocolate bars from Läderach, and everything was excellent. The truffles were rich and delicious, and the chocolate bars had a delicate texture where you can really taste the high-quality cocoa and flavorful nuts. The store is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality makes it worth it. The staff was friendly and even offered me some samples. I definitely recommend it!
I can’t say how appreciative of the service the young lady gave me she was kind courteous and very professional. Made it an easy experience for me as it was my first time. The store is nice the chocolates are unique and are of high quality. They have different variations and unique combinations of ingredients. This is a great spot for a chocolate lover with a more enhanced pallet. I didn’t regret my decision to walk into this location.
I stopped by to get a box of chocolate as a birthday gift. The store was clean and organized and I was approached by a very friendly and helpful staff member after I entered. He made sure that I chose the best gift and let me taste some dairy free chocolate. They have delicious vegan bars and plenty of regular milk and dark chocolate creations.
