Rated as a high end poutinerie and diner. I got the braised beef poutine. Superb. Great service. And located right in the heart of old Quebec coose to the tourist attractions. Interior has a nice vintage vibe, and the staff are super friendly

Ate here as a walk-in: had noted it was the closest restaurant to Chateau Frontenac where we were staying and the menu looked interesting. Got seated without issue and ordered a burger, chicken burger and a poutine to share. We also ordered two boozy milkshakes (although we found out when the bill arrived that only one of the two contained alcohol - the Maple shake on the menu has a boozy cousin which is the one I ordered, but not the one I got). The burger was good, but unfortunately the chicken was overcooked and chewy to the point I couldn't finish it. The poutine was very good - in a super savoury mushroom sauce and served with grated cheddar. Service was OK but largely absent (I think tables in the window where the customer is facing outward can cause this unfortunately).

After experiencing breakfast and lunch, I can say this is pretty good. Not amazing but a solid choice if you're anywhere in the area close by. Food choices are great and they really do their best to service and quality. Highlights are the unique takes of their sodas/juices. Try adding the syrup and salt chips on your combo! It's really good! Pirce-wise I don't believe we have been ripped off or overpaid, it's certainly right for the price and burger you get here.

Poutines here are so good and the view is amazing. Also the mango drink was very good. Services was top notch. Everything came out quick. I would suggest this place as a quick filling meal after walking around the upper and lower town for sure.

Le Chic Shack offers a genuinely satisfying experience, especially for those looking for a quality burger in a popular, high-energy setting. The Food and Drink: We tried two of their classics, Le Chic and Le Shack. The quality of the ingredients was certainly good; the meat and chicken quality was high and both were cooked well. We also indulged in a fun boozy milkshake and a refreshing house soda, both of which were delicious additions to the meal. The Vibe and Experience: The restaurant itself is a nice, popular spot. For lunch, it was crowded, busy, and loud, creating a high-energy atmosphere. While the noise level was definitely noticeable, we were still able to hold a conversation. We were definitely happy with our visit overall. The Value: While the food quality is excellent, we did feel that the price point didn't quite justify the overall service or experience. Perhaps our specific order choices didn't fully showcase the best value the menu offers, but it's something to consider for budget-conscious diners. In summary, Le Chic Shack is a solid choice for a high-quality, gourmet burger, but be prepared for a slightly higher bill and a very lively environment.
