Disappointed. This used to be our go to night out when we were first married. My chicken parmesan was delicious but came with a tasteless marinara over the smallest serving of pasta I've ever had at a restaurant. I love chicken parmesan and eat it every time I go for Italian food. Usually it's served on a bed of spaghetti. What was most shocking was the price $30.95. Also unexpected was no tiramisu, another staple at most Italian restaurants. The service was good and it's a pleasant place to go but I would have felt greater value at Olive Garden.

First and foremost, portions are relative to proper proportion, not to price! Don't expect Olive Garden portions for +$40 a plate; the food here is much more authentic and made fresh by a knowledgeable staff/kitchen. If you are looking for a more authentic. Greek/Italian-based restaurant, this place is worth a peek. Be very mindful that a party of 2 or even 3 will cost you around +$50 a person with appetizers and desserts 🍨

This will not be a good review so apologies to those who love this restaurant. My experience on weds eve was simply disappointing. We got a nice table, ordered drinks which took longer thank normal but it was ok. After ordering: Moussaka and Eggplant Parmesan we sipped our cocktails and enjoyed the nice atmosphere. The waiter came by after which seemed too long to tell me that they were out of Moussaka -- and stood there while I was to make a new choice -- kind of caught me off guard- but I decided on Veal Parmesan. Bad decision. When it arrived it looked good but once I cut into it - there was no mistake that it was not a fresh piece of meat but rather one of those pre cut, pre breaded things you can buy from a grocery. So tough - so manipulated -- so not "real veal" I ate a few bites and then stopped. I should have sent it back and I am guilty for not having done so. My wife's eggplant was not cooked correctly - simply not cooked until tender. This establishment used to be seamlessly good but it's clear now in this visit and the last ones that it has gone downhill. Maybe some of their other offerings are enjoyable -- maybe but I am writing today to warn others to be sure not to order the veal if you're expecting quality-- oh and eggplant that has been prepared correctly. As mentioned - I feel badly to give a bad review but when it's all added up I cannot recommend Little Italy.

Best Italian food in Anchorage!! We tried their pizza and cheesy garlic bread. It was mouth watering and the service was amazing. Very friendly and caring!

Busy little restaurant off the beaten path. Basically tucked in a neighborhood off Abbott. But definitely a place Locals know about. Saw Bob Lester & his family while we were here. Small menu but plenty of choices of traditional favorites. Fresh produce which is very important for me. Even the croutons were good. Obviously house made and Delish! I actually ate mine and I never do that! I got the baked meatballs in sauce served with garlic bread.. baked meatballs - Chef's Kiss! The garlic bread was barely toasted tho which was sort of weird but okay-ish. All in all, a nice dinner with a good friend which makes the dining that much better. And my friend painted the beautiful mural on the back wall near the bar so she wanted to show me. The bar tender was thrilled to know she was the artist. #supportlocal
