I had a pedicure and manicure done by Sarah! This has been by far the best experience in years! Sarah took her time to give me the best costumer service! And everyone that works there are very nice and friendly they make you feel good 😊 For sure I will go back soon
I have been here four times for GelX. First time the lady messed up and had to entirely re do four nails. The nails were uneven and chipped in two days. The manager told me she did a bad job. Second time was fine. Different girl. Although one cracked in the middle shortly after. Third time I told them the nail cracked (they just worked over it) and one nail was lifting (they ignored it). In two weeks both of those nails cracked completely in half. Came in to get them filled. When the cracked nails came off both nail beds were infected. It was 100% an infection due to their negligence. Manager told me I can just put a new set on and buy something off amazon to help. He also asked me who did them because they were obviously done poorly. Both times the manager thought I got them done somewhere else because of how bad they were. Absolutely unreasonable. I demanded they take them all off instead. Friendly note - they didn’t clean or throw away the tools they used on my infected nails. Enjoy the infection every one else.
Everyone at Lux Nails does a great job, though my favorite is Mimi. She does SUCH a fantastic job— nails right down to the skin (some techs sometimes leave a bit too much cuticle room which makes them look grown out too soon), nails are thin enough to look almost natural, and yet they are strong as all hell! I’m not exactly gentle on my hands at work, and Mimi’s nails will last me at least 3 weeks easy without lifting or breaking! I have had some salons where nails start to lift after about 10 days. I’m always thrilled with the technique and quality of Mimi’s work. She gets every detail perfect. I never feel bumps or uneven ridges and she’s great at filing my nails to a sharp point. I very highly recommend Mimi, as well as everyone else at Lux Nail salon. They’re quick, efficient, and do great quality work. You won’t be disappointed.
Got a beautiful pedicure done by James this afternoon! I always get the French gel. I also received the best leg & foot massage ever! I stand most of the day at work and my legs and feet get stiff and tired, but they are now energized for the week! Such an awesome addition to my beautifully done pedicure. We always feel welcomed and cared for when we visit! #LuxNailBar Thank you James!
My first time at Lux Nail Bar. I felt very comfortable. I was serviced by a young lady named Mimi. I asked for a manicure, full set and powder dip. I asked a few other different questions and Mimi answered with no problems. The man at front counter was very kind as well. I would recommend this salon to newcomers. To my surprise I received 2 compliments on my nails immediately as I went inside of DSW a few stores down. They were also playing the most beautiful Christmas tunes that created a nice nostalgic and whimsical atmosphere.
