Great..per usual. Food is always consistent...at all locations and the staff is always tentative. Definitely a staple when I want consistent good food!! Happy hour is dope..just wish there were drinks on the happy hour list
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Matador East Portland is a great place to eat. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, with solid portions that make it worth the stop. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a reliable spot for a good meal, and I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area. 🍽️
I can’t recommend this location enough. Staff, food and atmosphere. If McKenzie, Clay, Bradley or Mac is your bartender, you’re in for a treat! Not only are they personable. They make a really good drink! If you find yourself on the floor (booth or outside) ask tobe seated in Kristen, Jenny, Jasmine, or Malissa’s section. They’re extremely funny and you’ll feel more like a friend, than just a customer. If you show up for happy hour, I recommend the deconstructed nachos (off menu item) (Chips on the side, no shredded cheese, sub queso, steak as protein, black beans, pico, & guac) it’s the perfect chip dip ratio! Got nachos and steak tacos..100 percent can't wait to go back. Chill vibe amazing food fast friendly service. Would highly recommend to others and will return to again
Most locals know this place has a great happy hour! We go and always get the Habanero Prawns and just look at this gorgeous meal! Spicy, rich flavor, a good handful of prawns served with Polenta cake. And that sauce- just give me a spoon! Nice and spicy Hot. Super good salsa and chips, love the bacon wrapped stuffed Jalapeños too!
