The pho beef broth was absolutely delish, the pork spring rolls were tasty, and the fried banana with ice cream was out of this WORLD! I would suggest going during their early afternoon hours as the parking situation was pretty good considering the reviews where people went at night and struggled with parking. The person who attended us was also very nice and attentive!!
Let me start with how high the pieces are here. There is 0 drink options (you get s bottle of water spiced at you). A bowl of Phó is almost $20! I can get a large down the road for half of that. Not only half price but w considerably better ingredients and a broth base that isn't chicken broth from a can! I'm not quite sure what people are raving about. You can really tell how low quality the food is. The egg roll order is only 2 pieces and came with wilted lettuce. Also the protein was gotten wrong and now I'm sick to my stomach bc I can't eat pork (i ordered veggie eggrolls). There is very minimal proteins and noodles in the pho, it mostly consisted of broth. Also the side dish for the soup consists 3 jalapeno slices, a pinch of cilantro and single lime wedge. I've seen more vegetables on my kitchen floor after aggressive chopping. Take it from someone who eats Asian food and/or pho monthly, save yourself the time & money and skip this place. ...Writing this review from my restroom after eating here... Oh and parking is a joke! Nothing but street parking IF you can find it.
I tried this spot yesterday because I was craving pho, but all my main spots were closed so this was really the only option that wasn’t more than a 20 minute drive. I had been eyeing this place for sometime since I moved to the area a few months ago so naturally, I was excited to try it out. Off the bat, the parking situation was really weird with nothing but valet attendants harassing you to pay, despite the “parking in rear sign”, so forget about free parking unless you park two blocks down. I started off by trying the chicken spring rolls, but when they came out, I was brought egg rolls. It was fine since they told me they couldn’t make my original order since they were out of lettuce, despite literal lettuce leaves being underneath the egg rolls. I’ve had frozen egg rolls from Trader Joe’s that taste better than what I was given so it was already off to a disappointing start. I then ordered the steak flank pho and when it was brought out, all I could do was stare at my bowl in disbelief. The portion sizes are INSANELY small. For a $15 bowl of beef pho, I was given maybe 5 pieces of meat. At least the noodles were okay. With all this being said, I honestly don’t think I’ve ever felt the need to write a review on how mediocre my experience was at a restaurant. Overall, my two item order was around $24, which would’ve had much bigger portions at a true local viet spot for around $12..
Great late-night spot if you're craving Asian food. Open 7 days a week and closing at 1 a.m. Prices are a bit high considering the portion sizes, but it's understandable given the need to cover labor and food costs, especially since they are open late. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. I will definitely come back another night. The service is very quick and efficient. Make sure to park in the back lot—there will be a sign that says “$20 parking” because it is shared with a bar. Just tell the valet that you're there for Me'lange, and it will be free.
Picked this place at random because we were late night eating dinner and didn’t know what the heck we wanted. Walking into this place, it’s clean and has a good lighting - not too bright, not too dim. The music they were playing was throwbacks , my favessss so we were jamming and eating the whole time. Now to the yummy part. We started with the pork egg rolls and they were sooo crunchy and light tasting. Loved them. They were very generous with the meats on all dishes.** the sauce they had for the egg rolls was so damn yummy along with the vegetables. Then we ordered our plates. My boyfriend got the pad Thai beef and shrimp and I got the combination fried rice sub pork + shrimp and beef. Everything was so fresh and hot when it came out. So flavorful. I never need soy sauce for my rice and that’s my fave. My boyfriend’s pad Thai was cooked just right and the shrimps were big. They brought some sauce to our table and it was so sweet and tasty. Deff enhanced the flavors. We also got the chicken egg rolls and let’s just say, I’m obsessed. Will deff be coming back to try the other food they have, such a wide selection. The pricing wasn’t bad for the portions provided. Would love to see the other food now.
