My daughter and wife attended the woman’s only self defence class, 5 stars all round. It was a comfortable environment and group, welcome to all levels of experience. Pace of the class accommodated all levels of fitness whilst focusing on safety, prevention and all else fail techniques to stay safe. Will definitely be attending the follow up classes! Lynesay
I have been training with Mike for almost 6 months now and my weekly 1-on-1 sessions have become the thing I look forward to most. Not only has Mike got an incredible in-depth knowledge of Martial Arts, he is also a genuinely good person and reliable mentor. Training with him has made such a positive impact on my life both physically and mentally.
Mike is just the most fantastic teacher! I cannot rate him highly enough. My daughter is autistic & he has so much patience. He’s the pied piper of martial arts and you can see how much he loves what he does in every class. Thank you Mike, Skyla & I think you’re brilliant!
I've been going to Mike for just a month, but what a warm welcome he and the rest of the class gave me. I immediately felt at home and like I belonged there, despite not being a "typical" martial arts person being a woman, 56 and an absolute beginner. I think everyone would feel the same sense of belonging and inclusion. There's a real mix of ability in the class from me, right the way up to experienced and amazingly skilled members, but everyone gets what they need out of each class due to Mike's management. I'm loving the respectful yet progressive learning, and I'm feeling my body and brain awakening. I recommend to anyone that they come along and find out what it's all about and give it a go.
My kid has been attending Mikes classes from 2024 and he loves it. He looks forward to it every week. Mike is a great teacher and is amazing with the kids. I can the confidence building each week. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a martial arts for your child.
