Highly recommend the Royal Hammam!!! Feeling soft and relaxed:) Melanie and Gracie were so kind and made me and my partner feel so comfortable (especially as it was my first treatment at a spa)! The moment you step into the spa, you are surrounded by peace and tranquility; exactly what I needed:)
Booked through ClassPass because I had some credits to burn, and I had the massage of my life! Huge props to Carolann for really getting after it. I walked in there super tight and left relaxed! The vibes are immaculate! It’s decorated to foster the perfect atmosphere. I will 100% be going here again and recommending to everyone I know in Jax!
This is not only a spa but an experience I’ve never had in my life. I did the Hammam, and so glad I went into it not knowing what to expect. If you’re into trying new things, this is an absolute must. The Hammam room made me feel like I was back in Roman times, and blew my senses away. I was not interested in the tea experience when I booked an appointment, but now it makes TOTAL sense why you have tea and cookies after the Hammam. It was delicious and so relaxing. If you have a significant other that is difficult to buy gifts for because they pretty much have everything already, a Hammam service will blow them out of the water! My one suggestion would be adding some modifications to the Hammam room table and steam room for those with back and neck problems. Oh… and more Moroccan cookies please 😉.
My sister and I wanted a new spa experience on our recent visit to Jax Beach. We decided to give the Moroccan Hammam & Day Spa a try based on its reviews. What an incredible experience!! While the spa is located in a plaza, once you open the door you enter into a peaceful sanctuary. We both had the Luxury Detox which included a massage, steam, sea salt scrub and mud treatment. The massage was very relaxing and was an upgrade from a typical massage. The sea salt scrub, mud body wrap and steam room were such unique treatments my skin has never felt so soft. We finished off our time in the tearoom, with complimentary tea and delicious fruit. The staff went above and beyond! From the from desk to all the service providers, everyone exceeded our expectations. We even had a chance to talk to the new owner, Molly, who runs a top notch business. Everyone at the Moroccan Hammam and Day Spa made our experience exceptional!!
Used a Groupon for a customized facial with microderm. It was okay. I wouldn’t pay full price to have another one here. I didn’t get any evaluation of my skin, no recommendations for skin care, no preparation of what was next or about to be used on me, massage or any of the treatments, facial portion didn’t include the décolleté, sub par aesthetician. I did used to be a licensed aesthetician, so I do know what to expect, a lot of people don’t, but there should’ve been a lot more here, like, a lot more. Pretty atmosphere, the music didn’t match what you expect to feel-the immersion into the specific region. Traditional music should be played. I can get the meditation channel at massage envy or anywhere else around town. I came here for the Moroccan experience.. Glad I got the Groupon.. pricy and would have been asking for a refund if I paid full price. This was supposed to grab my attention. Instead, I won’t be back.
