Spectacular craftsmanship and customer service. My family heirloom necklace broke while my daughter was wearing it, because of a previously botched repair job. Not only did Nielsen’s salvage the bad job, they made it look better than it did when it was new. I am so grateful for the craftsmanship and hospitality they gave us. I’ve been to many jewelers in the greater Portland area, Nielsen’s is hands-down, the best! They’re a jewelry store you can trust to provide quality and fair pricing. Highly recommended.
Sara is the best! I came in with budget to replace my engagement ring and somehow I got two rings (one lab diamond and one aquamarine) for my budget?? I literally don’t understand how that happened. They really don’t try to upsell you or pressure you. So kind and ridiculously well priced. Sara brought in a few stones for me to look at and let me walk around with them outside of the store to see how they look in different light. I am recommending them to all of my California friends. They are worth a trip up to Portland.
Year 2021: Nielsen's Jewelers is great! The clasp gave out on one of my favorite watches.They were able to get me the right information to order a new band. I was able to get the only one online (blessed lol). Jan did such a great job replaced the custom band, adjusted for a perfect fit for my wrist, and saved one of my classics! Also has extensive knowledge about diamonds and how to get the shine you like. They can also make you your own tailored jewelry and place diamonds for you. Pleasant experience and definetly recommend. Update: Once again I returned to Nielsen's to get a watch Wifey had gotten me adjusted. I also found a beautiful necklace there for her. They have amazing, authentic, and vibrant jewelry. The ladies are always helpful, professional, and pleasant. Absolute go to for any jewelery needs.
My husband and I had a great experience with Nielsen's! We worked with Sarah to upgrade my engagement ring. She listened to what we had in mind and our budget, and clearly explained the options. She amazingly got the ring in before Christmas, which was so appreciated. I love my new ring, it's exactly what I wanted. Sarah is so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, AND very accommodating! We will definitely be back to Nielsens. Thank you Sarah!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience buying an engagement ring from Nielsen's. Sara was extremely helpful and honest each step of the way. Even when I wasn't able to be there in person, Sara sent me pictures and gave me suggestions on how to make it the perfect ring at a very reasonable price. She even suggested an engraving which made the ring very special and sentimental. My fiancé is so happy every time she looks at her finger. She is constantly getting compliments on the ring. I would highly recommend Nielsen's for any jewelry needs!
