It's a cute lovely experience, but as of late vendors are swapping in and out a lot and previous staples are just not around anymore? Great for a small bite to eat and explore new culinary experiences but often if you are going for a specific person there is no guarantee that they will be there week after week.

Small market but nicely done. KC Kombucha serves here! Yum, bring your refillable bottles for a discount. Taste local honey & fruits. Soaps, teas, candles & plants for sale.

Small but lovely market, and great for someone who gets overwhelmed with choices at large markets.

It's got a lot of growing to do and the midtown farmers market won't calm itself down to let this farmers market exist. It's not a competition. I wish there would be some collaboration to get more people who would go to the midtown market here. This doesn't need to be on the same level or the same thing as the midtown farmers market but the midtown market is making it really hard for this market to exist and it doesn't need to be like that

The Oak Park Farmers Market is a brand new small market located at McClatchy Park on Saturdays from 9am-1pm. There are only a few vendors right now but all of them are great! There was fresh and dried flower bouquets, locally grown strawberries and veggies, homemade teas and pound cakes, aqua frescas, beautiful plants and a handful of family owned restaurant tents. I bought some lemon drop tea from Tea Amo, it smells and tastes delicious!! I also got 3 beautiful new plants from the Plant Demon, that guy knows SO much about every single plant I was super impressed. My mom and I enjoyed our lunch at Meza, an Arab and Mexican combination restaurant where we had a vegetarian quesadilla and a chicken wrap with garlic sauce, they were both insanely good. As well as their mint and orange blossom lemonade and tahini chocolate chip cookie that happens to be vegan! The cookie was so good that I bought two more for later. I recommend stopping by this small farmers market even for a few minutes if you're in the area, you are highly likely to see something you will want to buy and supporting small local businesses is one of the best things you can do on a Saturday 💖
