Food was simply eh okay, service was fine enough, atmosphere is cute. Another typical River North spot that relies more on decor and ambiance rather than great. We started with drinks and the watermelon spritz was delicious, as well as the Hugo spritz. Service was a bit slow on a second round. We wanted to order apps before entrees but service took awhile so we ordered all at once. The burrata was simply okay but the calamari was quite good. We ordered the steak, orecchiette, fusilli and cacio e Pepe to share. The steak was too salty and I didn’t finish my portion. The fusilli tasted like jarred tomato sauce. The orecchiette was incredibly bland - I would not recommend. The cacio e Pepe was the best entree by far! We ended with dessert and the lemon olive oil cake was delicious! Overall, the food is simply okay but there are many better restaurants downtown and many many better Italian spots in the city. Drinks and dessert were good. I would maybe return for a drink on the patio but don’t feel the need to return for dinner.

Great vibes the pasta was amazing. It was really cool to see the chef come to our table and help us season the pasta with the Parmesan cheese. It was truly delectable. Also, the Caesar salad was super tasty and flavorful crunchy lettuce nice croutons grape Parmesan cheese again the cheese here is amazing for all my pasta lovers

We had a great experience at Olio E Piu. Service was excellent! Our waitstaff was very cordial, respectful and friendly. Our food had excellent taste and flavors. I particularly enjoyed my spinach salad. Cozy ambiance and the location is perfect in river north close to public transportation. Looking forward to coming back.

I brought my two daughters here for a fancy “last night” dinner at the end of our girls trip to Chicago - this place is stunning! The interior is old world and ethereal, gorgeous details in the lamps, wall decor, floor piano, etc. Anthony took such great care of us, recommending the very best dishes. The standouts for us were the tableside cacio e pepe, ravioli and the tagliata e verdure. We will be dreaming about this one for awhile!

We celebrated a birthday here last night and everything was flawless from start to finish. The atmosphere is top-notch with such a great vibe – perfect for a special occasion. The highlight of our evening was the service we received from Anthony. He was phenomenal! Incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. He truly went above and beyond to make the birthday celebration feel special. Can't wait to return!
