Dr. Keel and the staff at Pacific Dermatology and Cosmetic Laser Center are the best. Everyone is always kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I have seen several dermatologists in San Diego County, and I always end up going back here. I even switched my insurance plan so I could come back. If you are looking for understanding, patience, and non-judgmental care, I highly recommend them.
I had milia removed and a fibrous papule treated here and had a great experience overall. I called a few offices for quotes and this one was the most reasonably priced. Parking can be a bit tight, so I recommend arriving early to find a spot. The office itself is very clean and well run. They were on time, the medical assistants were kind and welcoming, and I was taken back immediately. The procedure was quick and painless. Afterward, Dr. Keele recommended tretinoin (which works well and is very cheap) to help prevent future milia and for anti-aging. I appreciated that he didn’t try to sell unnecessary products and kept everything straightforward and medical.
Everyone at the office are friendly professional and take care of you through whatever procedure or exam you are having done. Dr Keel always spends extra time asking about you and your concerns. He explains everything and all options. Never ever makes you feel like you are just a number. I have been going here for years concerned about my exposure to the sun and the damage it has caused. Don’t hesitate highly recommend. Update. Have to go every 3 months now. All my years of worshipping the sun god is coming home to roost. Dr Keel doesn’t mess around with any of my small different cancer skin types. Does what needs to be accomplished. His support staff are friendly and respectful. Thanks.
I would highly recommend Dr. Keel! Being a medical rep for almost 20 years I’ve come across a lot of providers through work and I have to say Dr. Keel is one of the best! Extremely knowledgeable in his field, very professional, and I trust his medical opinion. I had him remove a concerning freckle that popped up. It turned out to be positive for pre-cancerous cells and needed to remove more tissue. Sutures look great and are healing well. The staff is also so friendly and helpful! I have referred friends here as well who have all had wonderful experiences!
I recently lost my Dermatology Doctor to retirement after 25 years. After a lot of research and recommendations I found Dr. Keel. I just received my second treatment from him and can't say enough how relieved and grateful I am for his care and treatment. His staff is exceptional. His manager, Heather was so patient when I called her lost on my way to the office. She took the time to guide me into my appointment on time. I'm a Grampa with no tech. experience. I use a flip phone and drive a 25 year old truck. Heather's assistant also took my last call for help. Both so patient and helpful. Doctors assistant Theresa was so polite and professional.
