My husband and I chose a private session and decided to do pours. We each did two and chose blue because we just recently painted an accent wall in our living room & thought they would be a nice addition. I absolutely love the way they look on the side of our fireplace and can’t wait to come back to do more! Great people, great place, great price!
My husband and I signed up for Paint your Pet workshop and had a great time!! The folks that work there were friendly, approachable and helpful. We will definitely be back and I now have a new options for when I hang out with my nieces. Highly recommend
It was just the two of us and Gigi still gave a great class. I also learned a few tips to try when I get home! Great location. Much fun to be had.
I attended a Paint Your Pet class around Halloween, and it was super fun!! This was my 6th Paint Your Pet event, so with the holiday, I wanted to do something a little more creative. The staff at the South Side location more than accomodate my request to do a “Franken-Cat”, and they were genuinely excited to see how it would turn out. They let me use some black light paint, so it’s even better than I could’ve imagined!! I can’t wait to come back and attend another event :)
Great experience, and actually very fun both times I've been there. My first visit was a work party, landscape scene, no alcohol. We used the front room for food/drinks. We had a great time. The second visit was for my daughter and I, a birthday gift to her. The K-POP blacklight painting was so much fun!! I think anyone would enjoy the catchy tunes, which were not too loud! You could easily hear the instructors and hold conversations. They did some karaoke and the interaction with the group as a whole was really good. It felt fun! So, I'd give it a 4.5 and will explain why. There's little to no room for your food/snack/drinks while painting. No place but the floor to store a purse or small bag. I sling my crossbody bag on my stool, and sat on the strap. Your drink is between easels, beside your brush rinsing cup. Either could be knocked over easily. I brought a small package of cookies to snack on, and slid them under my easel, along with my paper plate of paint. I'm sure it's tough to balance getting enough customers into a session, with allowing space for these things too. But with everything on the floor or shoved between paint spaces, the risk of your things getting paint on them is also there. That being said, I'd still return again and have a great time! The instructors were very nice, they explain well, you are not rushed. There is open allowance for your own creativity, no one is forced to use the exact color in the examples. Bathrooms are easily accessible. Street parking close by fills quickly, we arrived 20 minutes early and spaces adjacent were filled. This was a Friday evening, so it's a busy street with nightlife. It's also a well lit area.
