Delicious and authentic Italian food served here. We have been here a few times and today we were there for lunch today, and had the lunch special which was a salad, pizza, and coffee, and also a linguine with basil and garlic sauce which was excellent. The last time we were here was for dinner and they also had entertainment. The food has not disappointed me yet.
Dined here for my birthday dinner on the 30th December. Booked a couple of days in advance. Arrived on time and checked in at the door, only to have the greeter then ignore us and move onto another walk-in customer who ultimately she could not offer a table to. We were seated right next to the bar and at the entrance to another room, so the amount of foot traffic by our table was massive. The restaurant was very busy (and there are a lot of tables crammed in) so we tried our best to ignore this. We did enjoy watching the restaurant try to seat 4 people on a tiny table behind us multiple times whilst we ate - all were moved to other tables, luckily for them. The service was good, friendly and attentive and the only downside was the sheer amount of people, chairs and enormous coats grazing the side of the table. The food was OK - perhaps we ordered badly. The cheese fondue (not sure what cheese it was, the menu doesn't divulge) was tasty. Cannelloni was richly filled, the Baked Ravioli was a little bland and one-note. All in all, a disappointment and an expensive one at that, over $110 for our meal that just included water, a shared appetiser and two baked pastas. Certainly not the best value meal we had in Quebec.
Restaurant Parmesan has been the restaurant where we have had the best service my husband and I have EVER had. They take your coat, and every detail is catered to. Refined attention in a friendly family atmosphere, this Italian restaurant highly recommended. Diego our waiter was exceptional. My husband and I had a phenomenal anniversary dinner. Thank you Diego!!!
So much to say!! On rare occasions you find an establishment where the food is delicious, the atmosphere unique and the staff add to the vibe!! Wonderful fun experience!! A true must see...opened 51 years ago, the history is all around you as you dine. Joe and Sophia made out evening super special ❤️. Mama's cooking in the kitchen, accordion player strolls the the isles. OLD SCHOOL FAMILIA RESTORAINTE... MAGICAL!!! (SP ?)
Planed to the restaurant next to this one at first. But saw this one was more crowded, so walked in. Everything was good except the main course seafood pot. Fish was good, mussels were OK. While lobster was just can do, but not fresh at all. Additionally ordered one salad, one frying squid and one bottle white wine, were both good. Given the poor quality of seafood, I don’t think over 300$ was worthy. Maybe seafood was not a good choice, I suggest trying others.
