I want to take a minute and share my experience in the PetSmart located in Daly City, CA. I will be raising a Bloodhound pup starting this coming weekend and needed to purchase virtually an entire shopping cart of items including a crate, large breed puppy food and appropriate raised feeding bowls, lashes and toys. I was assisted by a very qualified salesperson named Christian. He answered each product question I had and guided me on my final selections. I couldn't have been more pleased! When it came time to check out, Christian had Lumen assist me. She, too, was extremely helpful with the check out process and registered me and my profile information into the PetSmart system. In addition, she provided me with a PetSmart product information brochure that also contained discount coupons which I readily used during my checkout process. Bottom line: I can't recommend this PetSmart setting enough for all of your pet's needs! While I feel certain that the entire staff would be most helpful, I'd take the extra step and seek out Christian and Lumen for assistance. Howard.
This is a review for their grooming department. Specifically for one person, I dont know how she treated our puppy the first time (sent her for a full hair cut) the second time we went for a trim and shower she was shaking non stop just from the sight of her. As we were holding her waiting our turn she saw Lauren and started shaking harder than Ive ever seen her shake. Not to mention the first time she got a hair cut from her it was so janky and now that it's growing you can tell it was a terrible cut. Not to mention that a hair cut and shower which usually they say takes 2-3 hours Lauren said it would only than an hour which was already super suspicious. When we got her back the first time she barely looked like she had gotten a wash. We only went back to her as she was the only one available and she needed a nail trim but never again will we send her back to Lauren. Our original groomer Jade is awesome though, would recommend her but never again Lauren. She traumatized our puppy!
This store deserves negative stars. I was happy to see they were finally upgrading their aquatics department. Needless to say I was horrified. Dozens of koi shoved in ridiculously tiny tanks, dozens of dead fish. Some of which are literally MOLDING in the tanks. Overall the fish are overcrowded and clearly sick. I'm absolutely appalled.
Been coming here for over 11 years so far banfield & petsmart itself is great for pet needs! Even their hotels are awesome! Download the app for discounts etc. Earn points! Speaking for beginners pet; my 3 month old German shepard graduated today for pet training for beginners!! Thank you Maritza!!! Amazing trainer! Highly recommend her!!! Take her classes for training puppies 🐶 😍 to do basic to intermediate commands!!! $129 for 6 weeks 1 hr 1x a week!!! Super worth it! What's great also you get to meet other pet parents! MARITZA HAS DONE AN AMAZING INTRODUCTORY COURSE TO TRAIN YOUR PUPPIES!!! She's very caring, informative, honest, & has alot of patience for pet trainers! Even with food she knows! Also please get puppies to adult dogs (easy walk leashes) for the class 🙏. You'll learn how to teach your puppies to focus, seat, lay, leave it, touch, & many more! Again thank you maritza !!!
My husband and I love the Daly City PetSmart! The whole staff is great, but we’re especially fond of the dog trainers. 😁👏🏻👏🏻 Maritza and Jessica are gifted dog trainers and all-around animal lovers who have helped train us (the human parents) to be better pack leaders for our golden lab / GSD mix (Loba) and bring out her brainy GSD side to balance out her super goofy lab half. The classes are a lot of fun for dogs and humans alike, and you can really see the growth in your dog after you finish each six-week class. We’re really looking forward to taking the advanced class with them this summer!
