The Korean BBQ pizza was bomb, seems like there was some kind of gochujang dressing on the arugula on top. So good! Pizza was a little expensive for the size though. Did not like the Chocolate budino. It had a texture that was way too thick and the dessert was pretty bitter from the chocolate and needed more sugar
First time visiting. Wendy for the Korean infused pizza options. We ordered 4 different pizzas and all were great! ...but apparently only took pics of 3. Roasted cauliflower as our approach was perfect with some spice. This place has been on our list of places to visit and was so glad we did! Cute place and cozy atmosphere.
Lola's is a fantastic pizzeria. A Korean owned restaurant with delicious pizza, sign me up! Our favorite were the sha-roni and the Spanish special. I love the spin on traditional pizza to pop out the flavors. Simple divine. 10/10 must visit and experience this yourself.
With Young Joni closed as of Saturday, Pizzeria Lola was our memorial stop for great pie. We grabbed seats at the bar to connect with the friendly staff and talk all things pizza. Shared great memories of YJ, potential flavor additions to existing pies and brunch worthy drinks. The Korean BBQ pizza was an easy first choice due to the pop of those flavors. We the partnered it with the amazing flavor of the Sunrise (liquid chicken - Guy!).
Before this evening if I was asked if a wing could be exquisite, I'd say no. Then again I've never had the pleasure of eating at a James Beard-award-winning restaurant. Nor have I ordered wings as a dessert before until going to Pizzeria Lola. That's right. We had the calabrian chili wings, ate pizza and had the wings a second time. The pizza was great and why we went there while also chasing a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives experience. But make no mistake the wings were the star. The best I've had. And there isn't a second one even close. Tender. Perfect heat. Enough to change the body temp but not to where sweat breaks out on the brow. Flavor was unique, memorable and tantiilized the buds. All of them. Twice even. So yea. Wings can be exquisite.
