Needed some redwood boards for my driveway gate. With some help I went with 1x8 con common. If you want a deeper red go with con heart. I also opted for extra milling which includes sanded smooth surfaces with tounge and grove for tighter fit. It was my first time working with redwood and very happy with the result. You will pay more here than home Depot but the wood quality and service is worth it.
Came here to pick up 2 pieces of wood to repair my fence. Service here was very friendly and efficient.
Brian and the team at Redwood Fence Supply were really awesome. I had some do it yourself home repairs for our fencing including new lattice style and sizing and cut-ins for our existing fences. The lattice work is done locally at their shop and was of really nice quality and sturdiness, with different levels of quality available including com heart. They also had sample size cans for a few types of stain I wanted to consider. I appreciate the ability to take even my smaller project in and the time that Brian spent with me. Definitely has family owned customer care. An enthusiastic five stars from me.
Yesterday I discovered Redwood Fencing Supply, on Old Oakland Rd at 101, when I needed 20’ lengths of rough cut 2x6 redwood. I will go back, and I will recommend this family owned business to others! First, and most importantly, both on the phone and then in person, their customer support and interest in my project and needs was proactive, genuine, and helpful for me. Saul was at counter (and I believe not part of the family) and he is as good as it gets for customer facing, asking interested and helpful questions regarding me and my project. No less than 4 others in the office and the yard were similarly engaging and helpful. Their yard and office are organized and clean, and despite the rain it was comfortable to wait a short while while they milled my order. Also, it is a very convenient location! Please consider trying out this great downtown business!
This place is great. It's clean well organized and the guys that work there are fantastic. Saul is the man. It's all good man. But he needs to watch the rest of the show and then the rest of breaking bad. That's the only thing I would have against this place.. Saul needs to binge watch more BCS. Of course I'm kidding. They ready make their S4S decking board which is incredibly smart.. and their lattice on site. The prices are good and their point of payment sale is better than Home Depot because they take tap. Why would you go to the big stores when you can support a local family-owned business. It's no brainer. And tell Saul to watch BCS in it's entirety. AAA+++*** I was not solicited for this review.=but I was offered at 10% discount. 😉
