It's a really nice place. During my first time visiting, the second I walked in I heard "You're late!" because I arrived 30 minutes to closing. It was a friendly voice and he didn't even check to see if he knew me. Tatsu feels like a gunpla man cave that everyone is welcome in, man, women or anything in-between. Even upon your first time visiting you're welcomed as though you're a regular. I'm excited to become a long term customer
Phenomenal little shop. The owner and employees were so kind and even shot the shit with me about Kamen Rider (Decade 21 complete is still hilarious!). His prices were very reasonable for the stock he had as well. Even had some Kamen Rider merchandise including a CSM Gaim belt. Absolutely will be coming back and you should go give these guys some love too!
If you have trouble finding it, don't give up! Huge selection of Gundam models, older anime collectables, and tokusatsu. The owners are very kind and friendly!
Great place with friendly people. Every square inch is covered with/stacked with Gundam/Gundam type models. They have some paints and paint pens but not a ton, and for some reason a few boxes of comic books for cheap, that were trade-ins. They don't have ship, plane, car etc models it's all about Gundam type stuff. I highly recommend a visit!
On their website they claim they have paints in stock, I decided to go to the store since it was a short drive and I could pick them up sooner in person. Only to find out they haven't had the paints listed on their site as in stock, actually in their inventory in ages. That means if I had made the purchase I'd need to wait for them to figure out they can't ship and get a refund before buying elsewhere, or just end up with my money tied up on backorder for who knows how long? They've got a good variety of kits, a bunch of p-bandai but I wonder if they're actually buying the limited p-bandai stuff off the website so they can re-sell it at a markup. Next to nothing available in store related to tools and hobby supplies, even though their website might make you believe differently. Tiny and cramped location. Store owner seemed nice enough, his employee was not. The people hanging out at the store are more chill. I'm never going back to this place again. They couldn't even keep the lights on in the lobby where the tiny amount of paint they have is, so I was having to try and browse the mostly empty paint rack in the dark at 3pm on a weekday because of the window tint preventing natural light from getting in.
