I had a fantastic experience working with Dr. Gary Schneider at re.PHYSIO. I came in with shoulder instability from past injuries that was limiting my lifting goals. Over the course of eight sessions, we didn't just work on stability and strength-- I gained valuable knowledge on how to manage my shoulder issues moving forward. I've know unlocked a new range of motion and load-bearing positions for future weightlifting. Highly recommend this group for both bodily results and knowledge gained.
I started seeing Angela when I was only a few weeks postpartum and starting to run again. I had issues with right hip strength/stability/mobility, left hamstring strength and capacity, and lingering sciatica in my left calf. Angela gave me a program to address all of these issues and carefully taught me how to do each exercise with correct form. She also gave me advice on how to modify my running form and even my training to improve my symptoms and encourage recovery. I was able to slowly increase my training volume and successfully run my strongest marathon yet at only seven months postpartum. I couldn't have done it without her guidance and help. Thank you Angela!
Working with Dr. Angela to strengthen and rehab my knee pain has been a great experience and I highly recommend working with her on any sports medicine issues! I came to her to work on the nagging medial knee pain that I had been experiencing for over a year. I was able to do most movements in the Crossfit gym with minor pain, but simple activities like walking could be aggravating and irritating to my knee. In our first session, Dr. Angela did a thorough assessment with orthopedic and muscle tests to determine what could be the cause of the pain. Over the course of six months—starting with weekly or biweekly visits and tapering to monthly sessions—we’ve focused on improving the stability, mobility, and strength of my entire leg, including my feet and hips. I’ve seen so much improvement in how my knee performs during activities and a big reduction in overall pain. Dr. Angela is fun to work with and her background as a lifelong athlete clearly informs her thoughtful, effective approach. Each session starts with a brief check-in and targeted manual therapy to warm up and release the affected areas. Then we go into the gym and Dr. Angela will demo and walk through any new exercises for the week, while also tracking my progress. Every session is highly curated to what my body is experiencing that week, and she is always very knowledgeable in her responses with any questions or concerns I might have. I’m a member of The Gym where her practice is located, so it makes my PT appointments super convenient. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to work with Dr. Angela to keep my body healthy!
I went to Dr. Angela for a Grade 2 ankle sprain (she came highly recommended by other teammates) and my experience didn't disappoint in the slightest! Things I really appreciated about Dr. Angela: 1. Really thorough, customized training plans 2. A willingness to explain logic/rationale behind everything that she recommended 3. Thorough and thoughtful testing to show improvements 4. The manual work felt valuable 5. Easily available via text, and easy scheduling 6. A willingness to go discuss any of the questions I had. I never felt judged, and I felt like I could take sessions in the direction I felt most fit for my health 7. General kindness and ease to work with! I was able to return from a Grade 2 ankle sprain (couldn't really walk without pain) to play at a high level within a month and develop a strong offseason training plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Angela to anyone who's seeking strong PT support.
Angela is the best physical therapist I've ever had! As a runner, I was chronically injured with plantar fasciitis and hip pain before finding Angela. I had some issues for years that I just couldn't shake. Meeting Angela, I knew right away I was going to get care and attention I'd never received before in PT. Angela listens intently to your issues and goals and creates responsive programming meant to bring you back on track. Each visit, she wanted to see how I responded to every exercise and how my pain changed with activity. Using that info and being mindful of goals, history, and movement patterns, she'd continually update my training plan and tailor exercises specifically to me. Angela is also a caring PT who is mindful of the mental toll injuries can take. If I hit a plateau or experienced more pain than usual, she'd reassure me of the progress already made, share stories from other clients, and make sure we backed off training to provide sufficient recovery. I saw Angela for about 16 sessions (2x8), which lasted 7 months. I'm now back on track and pain free. Leaving PT, Angela equipped me with (hundreds of) personalized exercises and taught me how to structure a training plan, a workout, and a week to continue making progress. I can't recommend Angela enough!
