My son has been training in Rob Taylor’s academy for a few years now. The coaches Rob & Tom are so welcoming from the first time you step through the door- my son is quite shy and was really nervous when he first started, but Rob & Tom have a great way of coaching the children- they are very calm, patient and supportive. The prices are very reasonable and affordable for the amount of class times and days that are available for training with them. My son’s confidence has grown so much during his time training here, he’s also learnt discipline and skills for life- and has met lots of friends there. I couldn’t recommend Rob Taylor’s academy enough.
I was working in the area so I did a drop in nogi comp class. The atmosphere in the club was very welcoming. The gym was super clean and all of the people were friendly and cool 👍 will be back!
I have been lucky enough to train BJJ at gyms around the world, but never find better than Robs, clear, experienced, encouraging instruction. My 4 year old loves his kids class. A great new gym as well.
Rob is a great teacher and a lovely guy, very knowledgeable and talented at all things BJJ and someone I would call a friend. He has great coaches under him in Ken and Tom and the club is full of awesome, friendly people. Joining changed a lot in my life for the better plus I made lots of new friends too. I've seen the kids classes and they are great. As someone with 17 years of in experience education, from primary school all the way up to secondary, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the club to anyone looking for a place for their kids to train and build their self confidence.
Fantastic Academy! Everyone is extremely friendly and willing to help each other. There are plenty of beginners classes to get your jiu jitsu journey started. I would highly recommend Rob & the other coaches 🤙🏻 Top notch
