Best Carpaccio ever! Very creamy and savoury. The salmon was okay, should’ve ordered a steak haha. The place is very beautiful, has tall ceilings and lots of room for big and small parties. The only thing I wish our service was a bit better, but maybe it’s because it was a larger group. Either way, very nice place, will for sure be back!
Thank you Cynthia and staff for being a part of our wedding day! We had our wedding in their sky lounge and the entire evening was perfection. We’ve always enjoyed coming to Saltlik for their food and atmosphere and they delivered that and more for our special night. My vision for the wedding came to life here, and this place will always be special to us because of that. The planning process was a breeze, Cynthia and Sanjali remained communicative throughout. Tara made sure to execute everything as planned on the night of. Haseeb and the rest of the bartenders and serving staff were so friendly and so wonderful!
The service alone here deserves a 10 out of 10. I wish I remembered the name of the server because she deserves a serious shout out! She made the experience so memorable and she added so much value to our night. Beyond our time there and made recommendations for our upcoming trip! She was genuine, friendly, and helpful. As well, she made a special drink for us… we now all it the “Saltlik sour” …Which is now my new favorite 😍 - And her suggestion for a calamari as a starter was also on point! The calamari here is delicious!! It’s very flavorful on its own. But as well comes with a mayo based dip - That my friends liked. The biscuits with whipped butter was delicious. Veggies were good , my friends said their mashed potatoes were great The steak was ok.. but all agreed the steak honestly a bit of a letdown. (What I came for) I got the filet and my other friend got a strip. But it’s ok, because the rest of the experience was great. Espresso martinis are made right here too! And her recommendations for wine were also on point. We also tried shared the sangria, it was good as well. As well, the place has a very unique way of having a classy vibe where you can dress up, but at the same time, you could definitely come to this place casually and feel very comfortable, love that. As some of my friends were dressed up and some were more laid back dressed I would come back!
The host was engaging, and welcoming. This is a great, great, great people-watch-while-you-pause spot! We wanted a mid-afternoon pick-up and wandered over here after a visit to the Calgary Tower. So glad we did! We sat outside on a sunny mid-October day. The Parmesan fries and basque cheesecake caught our eye. And delighted our tastebuds. Fabulous! Try them.
