Delicious brunch place with a unique variety of brunch favourites. The chicken and waffle and earl grey pancakes were 10/10. Wait time for a table was over an hour but the place is very small with very little tables. Service was good though.
Came here because I saw a video on IG of Bad Bunny promoting this place, haha! But honestly this place is great! It’s very small, not ideal for large groups, and only about 6-7 small tables, most of which are tables of 2. On weekends they don’t take resos so just beware. The menu is great and we loved the uniqueness of it, there’s a lot of dishes you can’t find anywhere else. We ordered 3 different dishes and they were all great. Would definitely come back to try other dishes.
Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! Always the ever-reliable base, the fluffy English muffin is topped with a tender portion of sweet and savory bulgogi, perfectly gooey poached egg, and a rich hollandaise sauce that has the perfect, rich consistency to elevate anything, really. It’s a complete meal with the home-style fries and a refreshing Caesar-style salad. By that logic, getting the chicken and waffles makes this even more than a complete meal, a choice I don’t regret one bit. Sweet, spicy and satisfying, the star protein is like crispy chicken tenders on gochujang steroids. The waffle had a pleasant contrast of crisp exterior and a soft, chewy interior that holds its texture without turning mushy. On the side, you can drizzle a ton (or a little) of maple syrup to add a touch of sweetness to contrast the savory gochujang, while the crisp cucumber kimchi would be a welcome addition to any Korean meal. My brunches aren’t complete without pancakes, and these buttermilk pancakes were among the lightest and fluffiest ones I’ve sunk my teeth into, like melting into your bed after a long day’s work. They also stand out for their subtle sweetness and distinct eggy aroma, which is heightened with a floral and citrusy Earl Grey mascarpone and tangy strawberry sauce.
My sister and I came to this restaurant in October of this year for brunch. We were wanting to try some top places for brunch in Toronto and she and I both saw this restaurant from two different places (me on IG, and she on a recommendation list). We came and ordered the earl gray pancakes, I had the cookie butter pancakes, she had a hot Matcha Latte, and I had a Vietnamese Iced Latte, with a side of sausage. We had decided to lean into sweet but saw other tables enjoying the Bulgogi Benedict & Char Siu Benedict and decided our next sister trip together would be to have savoury at this restaurant. Our waitress and the host were so nice, we didn't have a reservation, we waited about 30 minutes and walked the neighbourhood until it was time. The vibe was cozy and definitely everyone was having a good time. Great service for brunch and would recommend coming back and trying many different options or having friends who want to share different tastes!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Although the space is relatively small, it is beautifully decorated with a chic and inviting atmosphere. Guests may want to allow extra time when visiting, as there can be a wait. The service was excellent, and every dish we ordered exceeded expectations. The beef bulgogi benedict was outstanding — the savory-sweet balance of the bulgogi with the richness of the egg was absolute perfection. The gochujang chicken and waffles were equally impressive; the waffle was light and fluffy, while the chicken was flavorful and well-seasoned, making for a perfect pairing. We also tried the hojicha latte, which was smooth and delightful. Overall, we left feeling very satisfied. A wonderful experience and absolutely worth the visit!
