All the staff were great!! Really appreciate April and Lily for cutting my hair and my kids! First time for me and it was great haircut and fun atmosphere! My son who is 7 said he wouldn’t get his hair cut but anywhere in Texas when we are here visiting! The staff were very friendly and deserve a raise! Thanks again.
My second time back and set appointment with stylist I had during my first visit.. during the first visit she had her understudy put in a bunch of notes about what we were doing for my hairstyle which included my goal to grow out the top portion. So a 4 around the sides with a blend till I get the length I want.. today went in and she had her understudy reference the notes.. I trusted she was doing the sides and trim a little knowing my intentions to grow the top long and all one length which would have my bangs near my chin… she cut it like I’m sure she does every men’s generic short style.. not happy
Lily was amazing! My son had a very particular idea for his hair in mind and she delivered! She also included him in every decision, checking in with him frequently and he was really comfortable with her. He asked to go back to see her for the next haircut!
Best haircuts and staff! Every other kids/family haircut places were booked out for days or wouldn’t answer the phone. Took my 3 boys, ages 10, 7 and 1 1/2 here and was so impressed. The staff, Lillian and Lyn were both so friendly, super-talented and great with the kids. They were also very reasonably priced. SMARTSTYLE is definitely our new go-to spot for haircuts. I highly recommend checking them out!
Loved SmartStyle! The minute we entered we were given the friendliest welcome. Lyn had a great attitude and really made an effort to interact with my 4-year old. She was communicative and made sure to ask me for my OK before making any significant cuts, i.e. if I wanted to take her bangs shorter or whether we wanted layers to be freshened up. It was also such a compliment when she said “mom, you’ve done a great job taking care of her hair.” It was really nice to know that our hair care routine at home has kept it healthy. The cut was affordable as well; for a no-frills 1/2” trim and bangs leveled, it was $21. And of course we tipped! I’m sure if you wanted to give your kiddo the shampooing experience, that would be extra. Absolutely a 5-star experience and we certainly recommend Lyn! We’ll be back!
