Great venue to host gatherings. Enough parking, and even EV parking with EV charge station. Full commercial kitchen and sound equipment. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

I didn't go because of the weather and when I went last time nobody looked at my QR code and it was when they had the Chinese dancers and free lunch and I wasn't allowed free lunch because nobody looked at my QR code and didn't give me any of my tickets and u have to pay to be a member too

MY 1 STAR EXPLANTION: I left a evening meeting & headed to the parking lot in my electric wheelchair to get my taxi & it was pitch DARK with ZERO lighting to see my way! VERY DANGEROUS & DEFINITELY NOT ADA ACCESSIBLE. OTHER THAN THAT THE BUILDING(S) & GROUNDS IS A NICE AREA & STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. PLEASE PUT ADDITION LIGHTING FOR PATRONS TO SEE AT NIGHT, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

This is a huge miss, yes it's a beautiful building. I would rather call this just another public office building, with a daycare, expensive coffee shop, and event spaces for every now and then. I would imagine a more equitable use of the building. Perhaps hosted TV watch parties, this would be great for seniors in our community and those that want to join them. Recreational facilities, daily arts and crafts classes open to the public, gardening classes, free speaking events, indoor games, fun cooking classes. Job resources and monthly job fairs. Free meals during some of these events. Just several ideas. Community centers should offer a wide range of activities fostering social cohesion, facilitating skill development, nurturing talent, improving physical and mental health. This building only highlights the serious elitist classism that now haunts this city. This building being a huge disappointment is an understatement. Especially for one of the poorest districts in San Francisco, this community center should offer much needed resources and services daily but it doesn't.
